"Ugh!" You groan, scraping the dried vampire blood off your face and arms. Flakes of it fall to the ground. Dean chuckles at your discomfort.

"What's the matter, Y/N? Scared of a little blood?"

Wrenching open the passenger seat of the Impala, you snarl back

"Shut up and drive, Winchester. A shower is calling my name." Dean obliges, starting up the car and driving to the hotel. When you get inside, Castiel is watching something on the television. You're too eager for a shower to notice. You strip off your jacket and boots before retreating to the bathroom.

You get the water running as you pull off your slimy, grubby, sweaty clothes and hop in. Sighing as the hot water pours over your sore, worn out body, you suddenly feel relieved and peaceful. You squeeze some shampoo into your hands and work it into your hair. Before you realize it, you've started singing.

"Carry on my wayward son, there'll be peace when you are done. Lay your weary head to rest, don't you cry no more." That used To be your favorite song. Your dad would play it in the car and you would both song along off key and pretend the dashboard and steering wheel of the car were drums. You smile at the memory and continue the song.

"Once I rose above the noise and confusion, just to get a glimpse beyond this illusion..."

Minutes later, you wrap up in a fluffy towel and sigh, finishing singing the song. You're finally clean and it feels so good. Suddenly, you realize the bathroom door is open. In your haste to get showered, you must have neglected to shut it.

"Damn it." You mutter, hoping that the TV was loud enough that Dean and Cas couldn't hear you. Walking out still wrapped in your towel, you see Dean and Cas staring at you with stunned looks on their faces.

"What?" You say defensively.

"You're an amazing singer." Dean says grinning.

"That was beautiful," Cas adds. You blush and can't say anything except for "Shut up."

"I'm serious!" Dean replies. "I think you could be the next Taylor Swift."

"Funny." You say, grabbing your bag. "I'm getting dressed."
