A/N: Hi there again. This is a song fic (and my first one too. Hehe…) of "Do better" by Say Anything. I really got inspired by it. It goes really good with the song, so listen to it while you read. So, here it is!

~Do better!~

It was a normal meeting, or what normal was considered normal for them. Everyone has already put their share of fighting, Germany gave his normal lecture, and like always, everyone was fighting or spacing out again, while someone was trying to talk. But, for once, Italy wanted to say something. He was tired of this routine in every meeting. So, he finally spoke.

"Shut up!"

Everyone stared shocked at the loud scream that came out all of the sudden and having his immediate attention.

"Italy. What's the meaning of this," asked Germany who was just as confused as everyone else.

"I want to say something," replied Italy to no one specificly.

"Then, proceed."

"We have to stop this. We can't keep on going like how we are. There has to be more to all of this. We are countries, representations of our people. Our people suffer or improve, because of our actions and words. I know they don't know of our existence, but even if they don't, it still affects them. We could do better. Right now, we act like frauds. It's a miracle the world isn't in chaos. Someone is always putting themselves in front of someone else and act like it's the biggest victory in the world. It's disgusting. We could do better than that. I know we have all done mistakes and have had our ups and downs in the past, and I know personally, but we could do better. We could me the greatest people in the world and not buy overpowering someone else, but caring for our people and forgetting the past and starting something new. Isn't that why we started these meetings to start exactly that? To help our people that we love and, literally, live for?"

Mumbles of 'yes', 'yeah', and agreements were heard across the room.

"We have to forget about our cultural and personal differences for the sake of our people. We need to. It's not of thing if we want to or if we feel like it. We have to. We could do better."

Italy then looks at his best friend, Germany, and does a slight nod.

"I'm done."

"Thank you Italy. I agree, in the total sense of the word, with Italy. We need to change our ways. For the sake of our people," said Germany.

"We totally have to change dudes! We got help our people," yelled America, getting out of his seat.

"I agree with America-san," replied Japan.

"We should forget our differences in the past for them," said England calmy.

"Even if it's difficult, non?"

"And even if people won't become with Mother Russia, da."

"Our people nos necesita," screamed Spain.

All the nations started to get out of their seats, one by one, all agreeing and nodding whole heartedly.

"So, we all agree," asked Germany.

"Yes," said all the nations in unison, "we could do better!"

And for the first time, they were a step closer to changing the world for the better.
