Pairing:

Finn and Kol

Summary: "Great. If I'm not a martyr, I'm a coward. I just love the hole you've dug for me. Hey would you like to piss on it while you're at it, brother."

Ps: This is involves incest yet is AU. The characters are probably ooc-ish and there are some things in this story I am sure a lot of people won't be okay with. I gave fair warning.

Finn was busy watching 'American Horror Story: Coven' while eating some hot cheetos covered in super hot nacho cheese.

There is healthier food around the kitchen but he will not go getting it anytime soon. He'd found the idea on Pinterest or thanks to a student he'd talked to, he doesn't recall. So far he likes it.

He has the weekend off since summer classes ended and the new semester wouldn't start till July sometime approximately by the 25th. He would check the calender later.

Just as he was walking over to his bathroom to pee someone decided it was a good idea to knock.

For a second he had thought of holding it but thought better on it and kept walking towards the toilet.

If it was that urgent they could wait a few minutes.

Once he flushed then his hands were washed he thought he had telekinesis like that one girl from 'Carrie' and unlocked then opened the door with his mind.

"Show off much?"

Finn smiled as Freya walked torwards him with Kol in tow. She hugged him tightly then sat down on the couch and pulled Kol along with her.

"Kol..."

The handsome wizard prodigy snapped his fingers in front of his brother's face but he remained unresponsive and his eyes seemed to be glazed over as if he were stuck in a trance like state.

"Frey, what the fuck? He hit on your girl or something?" There's something wrong with his youngest brother. He can tell that much.

Then there's Freya who looks too smug to not be the culprit. He's low-key proud and if she's pissed off he likely deserved it or got what he asked for.

Under normal circumstances Kol would bring food or drinks from the convenience store down the road because he rarely visits empty handed.

Either greet him by offering a small smile before passing a comment on the progress he's noticed of growing orange trees in the yard.

No matter how many times Finn's told him that nothing much has changed since he planted them last year sometime around mid-spring.

Or what he thinks could be done to either stabilize, improve or worsen whatever current event catches his interest.

Before asking about his day or skipping over it altogether to talk about his own.

Right now neither is the case and Kol would not stay quiet this long if he could help it.. regardless of his attitude or emotional state.

His eyes narrowed as his beautiful sister lit a cigarette and puffed out smoke in the classiest manner he'd ever seen.

It smells of grape and he normally isn't such a stickler around her but he is finding the situation a little disrespectful.

"He threatened me. I just put him in his place." Freya looks at Kol liked she'd put him is his place and doesn't regret it then takes Finn's silence as an obvious result-hint of his disapproval to her retaliation.

"Oh. What does he have on you to have you this...uneasy." Finn takes a seat on the coffee table and rubs at the back of his neck.

He had planned to go out later but apparently no one bothered to take this into account or did and are intent on having him cater to their wishes without complaint on his end.

"He knows about Ecuador." She looks at him with a seemingly practiced deliberate ease as if wanting to catalogue his response to see where to go from there.

Finn laughed with carefree jollity as her words sunk in and she raised an eyebrow in question when he left while still laughing now kinda hysterically.

After what felt like five minutes he returned from his kitchen with a water bottle then pushed pause on his tv.

"Who told him about it? Actually..now that I think about it, who else knows?"

He looks at Kol and wonders if he should call in and say his brother is feeling under the weather therefore won't make it to work for a day or two. Call his supplier because he has a few ideas in mind but is running low at the moment.

Judging by the state he's in Freya went a bit overboard and he has no doubt Kol will feel the aftershock in the morning.

"Elijah's the only one who was with us but I think he probably told Nik."

Finn bit his tongue slightly then sat down and passed her the water bottle as he spoke.

"If Niklaus knew he'd have the biggest bitch fit ever. Trust me. You wouldn't here the end of it till Halley's comet. And Elijah would be daggered, again. He wouldn't risk it. Although if we play this right, I suppose we could always get away scot-free."

Finn no longer plans on taking one for the team ever again or something similar because he's fed up and his new outlook has been working out great.

Getting him laid left and right. Getting him power, skills and knowledge that had been shut to him before.

Now he'd just been taking a break and his efforts to be chill about it is slim as it is. She had laughed as an ashtray appeared and she set her cigarette down while agreeing then saying.

"Nik's always had a thing for theatrics hasn't he." She recalls the New year's incident with their parents and wonders why Rebekah and Marcel thought it would be appropriate to get into the mix.

"He's not important. Not now at least." As Finn spoke he stood and pushed Kol's limp body on the couch so that he was laying down. It was really odd to see his brother in that state.

Awake but unresponsive almost completely catatonic seeming. Freya noticed him admiring her work and she beamed proudly.

"What can I say little brother. I'm just good at my craft." She took a few cheetos and shoved them in her mouth then spoke after having swallowed.

"Aunt Dalia made sure of it. Good thing you've got her natural talent, Finn. I had to work my ass off for it like mother and Kol here, well before he turned."

She's pretty sure she has clothes in the spare room and his closet so she could always stay the night and change for work in the morning.

"Why are you here with him? Can you not change him back?"

As he spoke he got a butterfly knife from Kol's pocket, while thinking he was Apollo Robbins and stabbed his hands repeatedly as if it was a completely natural action to take.

Blood gushed out of his palms but he made it all levitate effortlessly before it ruined his couch or carpet.

Freya stared in awe for a moment then stood up to watch what he would do next.

With swift movement almost too quick for her to catch even though she was standing nearby, he cut Kol's cheek then touched it briefly until his hand began to heal itself then he did the same with the other.

All the while his still levitating blood formed a medium sized sphere and Freya really wanted to touch it but was somewhat afraid it would burst if she dared.

"Father and Rebekah are coming to town next week. I told them Kol was somewhere around Europe. Keep him scarce till then and I'll give you aunt Dalia's grimoire."

"You want me to cure his brain damage?"

As Finn spoke he unbuttoned Kol's shirt then opened him up with surgical precision she had no idea he possessed.

While forgetting for a moment that Finn was a normal guy, a college professor at that and not some skilled pathologist.

Who was currently preforming the chest and abdomen autopsy on her youngest brother by making a Y-shaped incision that starts at the shoulders.

"Nah. Keep it if you want. It'll wear off in a few days. So what say you, Finn?"

She knows she has likely come by at an inopportune time and this task is an inconvenience but Finn's never denied her anything so she doubts that he'll start now.

"Okay." He doesn't even pretend to think on it because Kol would help him out if the situation were reversed although begrudgingly for show but he doubts Freya would ever make a move to harm him.

"I want Ayana Bennett's and mother's as well." They'd give it to him without question if he asked. Allow him to tear up the pages, write on them.

Destroy them if he says they didn't meet his standards not that he'd ever do that. Their spells are amazing. But he wants Freya to give it a go. See the aftermath.

He knows what he is asking of her in exchange for his help but it is nothing she can't get before lunchtime and he is confident that she will have it delivered personally after questioning his reasoning whilst not judging his response.

"Are you high? It will be hard enough to get aunt Dalia's. If you get all three you'll be-" She ends her speech abruptly when he met her gaze.

"You could always tell our parents, problem solved." He's pointing out the obvious even though he knows that she won't consider it an option worth checking. Shame. It could have ended quickly and less messy or intrusive on his personal life.

"You know that's not an option." Fraya huffed in mild annoyance then took a drink of water and spoke dejectedly.

"You'll have the stupid books by the time father leaves."

Finn smiled slightly, he'll have fun at their expense. He might as well, they are interrupting and have nothing to show for it.

After a moment he licked his lips then spoke in a bored tone voice that clearly signified that they are done discussing this.

"Always a pleasure doing business with you, sister." There's a finality to his words that have her wondering what she did to make him think they are experiencing some form of fallout.

After a moment she rolled her eyes then jabbed a finger in his ribs as she gritted her teeth while speaking vociferously when he didn't let up on his demeanor.

"I'm going to learn those spells with you, like hell I'm getting left behind."

"Do as you please. I won't stop you." He looks down at his pants, wipes his hands on a washcloth rag to his left and reaches into his back pocket.

Clearly confused when his phone started ringing even more so than before when he sees the name displayed on the screen.

"Hello. No something's come up and I can't make it. I'd like to reschedule then. Tomorrow afternoon's fine, thank you." He puts his phone on the table and walks over to the sink to wash his hands.

The blood sphere seemed to spin quickly as some of it dispersed and formed smaller spheres that appeared to orbit the bigger one like the planet's to the Sun in the solar system by the time he returns to the living room.

"Finn...what are you doing?" Freya did nothing to stop her brother because she had complete trust in him but that doesn't stop the floating blood bubbles from creeping her out like nothing else.

She wasn't worried about Kol, he is a vampire and would heal easily but something about the way Finn answered her question sent a chill down her spine.

"Testing a theory. Nothing more."

M Note: Freya, Dalia and Esther and Finn have magic/are witches. Elijah, Mikael, Klaus, Kol and Rebekah are vampires.

Because Esther turned them then discovered that immortality could be achieved without becoming one thanks to Ayana and didn't bother to change them back because they had gotten used to it.
