Last Name

I got to the school and parked in the garage. I got my duffle bag out and headed inside. I decided to go to the kitchen. I entered and saw Logan in there with that Bobby or whatever his name was. Logan was drinking a soda out of a glass bottle and Bobby was eating ice cream.

"Hey, Logan." I plopped on a bar stool next to him.

His eyebrows shot up and looked at me. "When did you get here?"

"Just now. Surprised?"

"Yeah. What are ya doin' here? Shouldn't you be with Victor?"

"Yeah," Bobby said.

I looked both of them. "Victor cheated on me."

"What?" Logan and Bobby said.

I nodded. "He cheated on me."

"How long?"

"Couple weeks. I smelled ladies' perfume on him."

"What me to kick his ass for ya, Manda?"

"Not yet."

"Mind me asking how you and Victor met?"

I smiled. "It was years ago. About seven years. . ."

Last night, I got served a little bit too much of that poison, baby
Last night, I did things I'm not proud of
And I got a little crazy
Last night, I met a guy on the dance floor and I let him call me baby

And I don't even know his last name
My momma would be so ashamed
It started off, "hey cutie where you from"
And then it turned into oh no, what have I done
And I don't even know his last name

We left, the club, 'bout around 3 o'clock in the morning
His Pinto, sitting there, in the parking lot, well it should have been a warning
I had no clue what I was getting into
So, I'll blame it on the Cuervo
Oh where did my manners go?

I don't even know his last name
Oh My momma would be so ashamed
It started off, "hey cutie where you from"
And then it turned into "oh no, what have I done"
And I don't even know his last name

Here we go

Today, I woke up, thinking about Elvis somewhere in Vegas
I'm not sure how I got here
Or how this ring on my left hand just appeared outta nowhere
I gotta go take the chips and the Pinto and hit the road
They say what happens here, stays here, all of this will disappear

There's just one little problem

I don't even know my last name
Oh My momma would be so ashamed
It started off, "hey cutie where you from"
And then it turned into "oh no, what have I done"
And I don't even know my last name

What have I done
What have I done
What have I done

Oh, what have I done
I don't even know my last name

Well it turned into, oh no what have I done
And I don't even know my last name
Yea, Yeah, Yeah

I don't even know my last name
It started off "hey cutie where you from"
And then it turned into, oh no what have I done
And I don't even know my last name
Oh, yeah

". . .then a year later we met in the city, remembered each other, dated for six months, and got married."

"Then he cheated on you."

"Yeah. I don't know why he would do that. We loved each other so much. . ."

"It's gonna be okay, Manda. You'll see," Logan said. "It's late. Let's get you to yer room."

I nodded. "Okay. Night, Bobby."

"Night."

I followed Logan, but when we were getting close to his room, I grabbed his arm. He stopped walking. I looked up into his eyes.

"Can. . .can I spend the night with you, Logan? Please?"

"Yeah, sure."

He led me into his room. I dropped my bag at the end of the bed. He laid in his bed and patted the other side. I took off my shoes and got under the covers with him. I curled up on my side facing him. Logan was on his back and pulled me closer, his arm protectively around my waist. I laid my head on his chest. He's always been a big brother to me.

"Thanks, Logie."

He chuckled at the name. I called him that since I was seventeen after having a horrible nightmare. "Anytime, darlin'."

I closed my eyes and we both fell asleep.
