A/N: I have never showed anyone one of my songs, so ya'll are special. Please no flames. This song/poem is called the The East Side. Please R & R, it would be greatly appreciated.

I'm from the East Side

The run down side of town

Where crime goes wild

And the bars are always occupied

On the East Side

I'm from the wrong side of the tracks

Where the girls are always crazy

And the boys are always lazy

Don't need a lotta money

But friends are always multiplied

From the East Side

The other side

Where there's Thugs and hoods and drugs

Don't socialize

With the West Side

Green-grey eyes

Melted puddles like ice

Getting jumped every day of my life

The lower East Side

The 'Nam draft's creeping up

On our East Side boys

Slicked back greased hair

Switchblade in our pockets

Old T-Shirt

Small homes, big city, tall crime

Don't like no fuzz and don't stay sober

It's rough all over

On the east side

You know we'll all die

Desperate violent and young

It may sound rough

But it sure is tuff

Hood, Hood, your no good

From the east side
