~~I own nothing in this story expect the words that flowed through my mind, and were placed by my fingertips~~
The morning light poured into his window, spilling across him, and the small treasure that lay in his arms. He dared not move in fear of waking her, but his fingertips ached to brush the raven hair out of her delicate face. The fragile girl's smooth leg ran across his own skin. Oh how he wished the morning would have never come. He was half expecting last night to fade into a dream, but the dull aching of his body told him once again he was not dreaming. He finally kissed her smooth cheek his stomach knotting with all the love he was giving her. That love would never cease it was the pull that kept him steady as the moon pulls on the earth, she pulls him, and that's exactly has it had been since he first laid eyes on the nervous girl. He'd been the only one to see the strong graceful woman that girl could become, but he knew that has the earth never fully grasped the moon, he'd never grasped his pale eyed love. The electricity of his kiss had woken up the woman in his arms, and her moonlit eyes softened as the met the muddy brown eyes he kept hidden to everyone but her.
"Good morning star shine…" She giggled. Oh, the sweet harmony it created. His chest pounded as he kissed her forehead.
"The earth says 'Hello'." He pulled her in closer. Could it be that they were truly married?
"It's a beautiful day for a walk…" She mused, but he wouldn't let go. He'd captured his moon, and he knew she may escape if he let her go…
And he never did.
