"I won't say another word" she whispered.

Gail leaned in and kissed her again softly. When she broke the kiss Holly stared into her eyes for a short moment before the word vomit came.

"Y-you kissed me. You kissed me in an interrogation room. You know, there are other ways to quiet me. Uh, like telling me to settle down or clapping your hand over my mouth. N-not that I didn't enjoy your method…I-I really enjoyed your method, actually…it's just…"

Gail kissed her again, more adamantly this time. Her tongue brushed against Holly's lips and Holly allowed it to enter her mouth. Gail fervently explored Holly's mouth and lips with her tongue for several minutes before breaking this kiss.

"While your rambling is adorable…I believe you promised you wouldn't say another word. After all, I did work hard to shut you up." Gail smiled bemusedly at Holly.

"I…I did say that, yes."

"And I might remind you," Gail added, "you kissed me first. I hope you enjoyed the payback." Gail smirked.

"Was that what this was? Payback?" Holly looked a little hurt and the look in Gail's eyes softened.

"Holly," Gail said her name in a way only Gail could manage. "I kissed you because kissing you again is all I have been thinking about doing since you kissed me in the coat room. And it seemed like a brilliant idea to shut you up. Two birds, one stone." Gail smiled back at Holly brightly. Holly leaned in and captured Gail's lips again for a slow, lingering kiss.

"Mmm, as nice is this is, and as much as I'd like to stay here with you forever, I have to get back to work and you have to turn in that report, you know, because the courier is so sick." Gail winked at Holly and received a blushing face and a chuckle as a response.

"I'll leave first and then you can follow me." She placed a quick kiss on Holly's cheek and exited the room.

Gail ran into Oliver immediately upon exiting the room. She was vaguely aware he was speaking to her as she saw Holly emerge. She heard Oliver ask her about Holly in a haze and she snapped back,

"The courier was sick, Oliver, if you really must know."
