It had been a week. A whole week. A whole god damn fucking week! The stupid ass was really gone. She didn't why she had kept her hopes up. He had made it quite clear that he wasn't coming back. Not anytime soon anyway. First it was Itachi killing their whole clan now her best friend had to leave too?

Cristel stood in front of the memorial stone staring blankly at the words inscribed on it. She soon felt a presence beside her. A hand was laid gently on her slowly lefted her head up. Anko stood beside her a sympathic look on her face. She opened her mouth slowly as if carefully choosing her words. "Cristel, look you need to forget him. Your never gonna move on if you don't."
Cristel's eyes narrowed. She slapped Anko's hand away. "SHUT UP! You don't know anything! He wasn't your best friend was he! NO! He was mine! So stop acting like it's so easy to get over!" She turned and ran when she was done not noticing the hurt look on her friends face.

Cristel ran until she came upon the training grounds. She walked over to one of the posts and sat down next to it. She turned her head up to the sky. It was bright and sunny. She just couldn't understand how the whole world could go on like none of this had never happened.
