Midnight Delivery ~ a letter for Ethan

From: Kerry Nowicki

Do you feel the chilling breath of loneliness at night? Are you still wandering the world elusively? Pulling up your root every 3, or 4, at most 5 years? A life without true friends, Always live in fear of others, Is that what you really want?

Do you ever miss your life before the change? I know the world is different now, You don't fit in with your unnatural abilities. I realize you are what many people die to be, Forever young, wealthy, handsome. But do you regret just a bit for the night you left me, Leaving me to face the unknown all alone.

What did you feel that night? Could it have been trust, or love even? I wish I didn't have a choice, It would have been so much easier. I don't regret my decision, But I wish you would reconsider yours.

Goodbye, Ethan, Maybe one day, You'll be waiting for me behind a shadow, And we'll ride off into the sunset together. Goodbye, Michel.
