Dedicated to Princess Lena aka Lady Kittuna and the Belief that Danny Phantom will Return.
I have to agree, Danny is back, although I do not know how they plan on continuing the series now that everyone knows. But hey if we all have a little faith in Butch Hartman he'll think of something. Also for the none believers go check out TV dot com, type in Danny Phantom and it will show you hat is says Returning Series. So let's all have a little faith before another beloved and highly watched Nickelodeon show is ripped from the air, like all the ones that went before it: Rugrats, Rocket Power, The Wild Thornberry's. If Nick keeps this up and is constantly airing Spongebob, then they should just change it to the Spongebob network because that's all I ever see anymore. And quite frankly I'm sick of Spongbob, there are no ethics, no morals, and certainly no educational value. I mean what possible educational value can be learned from a sponge that is always screaming; crying and can't even pass a simple driving test? I find nothing funny about the show and wonder about the minds of young children who see this CRAP!
At least The Wild Thornberry's taught about appreciating nature and saving animals, even though a girl who can speak to them is a little far fetched, but still is made people want to watch and in doing so they learned. I know I did.
The Rugrats taught about friendship and the importance of it. Of all the mistakes and adventures you could find yourself in but in the end if you had a true friend by your side you would be alright. It taught about sibling rivalry, it happens but there are ways to deal with it and it also taught that not everything said is true nor is it false.
Rocket Power for those slightly older taught how you need to keep your ego under control before it swallowed you up. Friends that will be there through thick and thin no matter how much of an, and excuse my language, asshole you were being. Parents who were responsible for their children, taught them right from wrong and made sure they learned a lesson from their mis-actions.
Ok, maybe Danny Phantom is a show that is a little far fetched, with the whole ghosts invading the world but it still has it lessons if you pay attention long enough to read between the lines. Which is something children learn from watching ( not necessarily this show but their eyes are a wonderful tool), Danny is a hero that saves the world. He stands up to the bullies, stands by his friends and shows that he has a back bone. Everyone needs a hero, someone to look up too, he protects those who cannot protect themselves he doesn't bully and most of all he is in a school environment he doesn't run around trying to figure out how to make a burger or stop to go play on fish hooks. What is that teaching a child? Friendship, courage, and love are very strong and they can all be used to stop bullying.
