Just a Kiss
It was already late in the afternoon as Tezuka finished his own independent practice; the others were sent home hours ago. It was just like him to do such a thing, especially with Finals coming just around the corner.
So imagine his surprise when he spotted Fuji sleeping on the floor of the clubhouse.
It was apparent that the two had become close in recent weeks, nearly training everyday together for the upcoming event. While Tezuka became aware of his growing infatuation with the tensai, he refused to think it had meant anything at all. Fuji was a male; Tezuka was a male. It wouldn't be natural to have feelings for someone of the same sex.
It just wasn't.
Nevertheless, Fuji wasn't supposed to be sleeping on the floor. He looked peaceful and collected as always; Tezuka found that difficult for anyone to maintain in unconsciousness, but the tensai would always find a way. He picked the boy up and placed him onto the bench. The position that Fuji now took was an odd one, yet he looked perfectly fine.
The captain quickly changed his clothes. He looked back down on Fuji; the other was still sleeping soundly. Fuji looked peaceful, almost angelic with the light of the setting sun heightening his lovely features.
One never gets the same exact opportunity twice. Therefore, Tezuka took this opportunity. He bent over the other and gave a quick kiss. Fuji stirred but had yet to wake.
Tezuka looked up and around to see if there was anyone else around. It would be the end of him if there was. He quickly scribbled a note for Fuji to lock up when he woke, posting it on the door. Tezuka made his exit. His infatuation for Fuji was not relieved, but rather, it grew.
Moments after Tezuka woke, Fuji opened his eyes. Fuji touched the lips on which Tezuka graced him with a kiss. He chuckled slightly. "Just a kiss?"
