A/N: I honestly don't know what got into me when I wrote this. Oh and in this story, the name of the creature is Clover. Cloverfield doesn't seem right anymore.

Disclaimer: I pwn them all. I just don't own them.

Clover POV

'Damn, I can't find any of the parasites,' I thought, 'I suppose my little pets have been killed by those puny insects.'

I was swimming for a while. I had narrowly escaped the insects. Right before I had fled, they knocked me into a flat structure, which I think let's them travel over valleys. Either that or it provides shelter. It didn't work, because I killed two of them. The wretched beings. All I wanted was to find my mother. Snapping back to reality, I saw land, in the middle of this endless ocean. My mother told me about our planet, before she had found refuge underwater in a cavern full of trapped air, and laid me as an egg. Our planet didn't have nearly this much water. I paddled toward this land. Not very well, I might add. A few minutes later, I reached it.

The land inclined upward as I entered the area. I looked around. 'Sandy,' I thought. The sand ended a little farther away, where huge plant growth started. I considered going inside the plant growth, but decided against it. What if those insects try to sting me again? I heard some of the growth rustle. I looked to the right, afraid. 'More of those insects?'

A/N: Sorry it's so short, but It's a prologue.
