Avatar: The Tale of Yin and Yang

100 years ago, Korra went into the Spirit world and was never seen again. Now the world is now at war with itself. Benders are now forced into the military and are no longer treated as equals. Two orphaned twins with unique bending abilities are on the run along with some friends while they go on a journey to find their parents and learn why they were chosen to save the world.

Prologue

War.

Because of war there will never be a thing as peace. War is also the start of this story.

Avatar Aang disappeared during the Hundred Year War, this caused the world to go into chaos. The Fire Nation destroyed the Air Nomads and nearly destroyed the Earth Kingdom. Eventually he arrived and ended the Hundred Year War and created Republic City.

After Aang there was the last Avatar: a young girl named Korra.

Avatar Korra was able to stop the Equalists, unite us with spirits, brought back the air benders, and brought peace to the Earth Kingdom.

What do these two have in common? They both left humanity with the illusion of peace.

One hundred years ago Korra and her girlfriend Asami Sato went into the spirit world and never returned…

And the Avatar was never reborn.

War began once again and the illusion of peace was broken. It was Water Tribe against Fire Nation and Air Nomads against Earth Kingdom. Even the spirits retreated back into the spirit world… And there was no Avatar to bring back this "peace".

The world felt as if the Avatar abandoned the world once again… But they were wrong.

Avatar Korra was still watching over the world and gave them a gift, they just didn't know it yet.

That is when the story of Yin and Yang truly began.
