Did you see the sky tonight
It was covering a world so bright
Hiding from a place inside, you could never really see the light
Torn lay, half asleep on a lowered table, thinking on a certain blonde-haired renegade.
'Jak.' He groaned to himself and flipped over staring through the window at the pitch black sky. For the past four days, the only coherent thought in his head had been about Jak.
The way he looked, the way he walked. GOD! It had almost become a fucking obsession for him!

Torn suddenly sat up, a rustling sound in the bar. He peeked his head out of the makeshift room to see a shirtless Jak rummaging through a cabinet under the bar.
"Jak? What are you doing up?" Torn said slinging his legs out of the bed and standing up, stretching.
"Couldn't sleep." Jak averted his eyes only for them to land on Torn's chest then he just moved so he couldn't see.

"What?" Jak asked quietly, slipping in the bartenders stool and reaching under for two chilled beers.
The red-head shook his head. 'Ho can he be so close, but so far away?' Jak blushed when Torn looked up and caught his gaze.
"It was nothing."

"Are you sure? I'm always here for you."

Torn looked up in time to see the blush that crossed the younger elf's face.
"I will remember that."

Jak moved around the bar and sat on the top as his muscles rippled slightly. "Don't let the past win."
But looking in the mirror

He framed Torn's face with one hand and traced the small scar on his left cheek. "Don't let it win. We are what happens now." Jak pulled back and sat back on his stool.
But if I could see your face tonight
I would give away my worthless life
Torn hesitated before looking into Jak's blue eyes. "Jak, I've seen men killed in battle. I've seen children slaughtered. I've killed men myself." Jak listened to the quiet spill of Torn's emotions. "But, the one thing that hasn't hit me yet…"
Crawling on my hands and knees…

Jak's eyes widened as the ex-commander leaned over the bar table and kissed the elf gently. Torn pulled back just enough before he leaned foreword again to the slowly responding elf.
Jak pulled back and smiled, a genuine smile. "We can take that on together."
