It wasn't the quietest place I'd ever been held captive, and believe you me, I've been to many different locations throughout the years. Sounds from above- sirens, cars, construction sites busy at work, and other various things- echoed in the area I was seated in, leading me to believe I was beneath a heavily populated area. The musty smell of the burlap sack, which had been brutally placed around my head, stung my lungs and nostrils with every breath. I'm not pestiferous, the world needs me. I don't mean to toot my own horn, but not many can do what I am capable of. I suggest the world re-evaluates my importance since not many wizards remain.
"Why doesn't he just blurt out a spell and teleport to safety?" you may question. See, a very long time ago, even before you and I were born, the Council of Damnation created a liquid substance which overpowered light magic. There are two types of magic: light and dark. There are also two types of worlds: the Real World and the Reverse World. The Reverse World housed this council since it was purely evil. The Council of Peace, in the Real World, created this new habitat to separate the misbehaved wizards from the good. Over time, the Council of Damnation as well as the citizens living in the Reverse World began exploring the world's lands, finding flaws in the overall security. In no time at all, the Council of Damnation took all of their people and seeped into the Real World, successfully blending into society. Large manufacturing companies (overpowered by dark magic) began reproducing this liquid substance and distributing it amongst the Council of Damnation and furthermore to the previous members of the Reverse World. It was then that chaos corrupted the minds of the people in the Real World which, in turn, gave power to the Reverse World citizens.
