Mohinder knocked and waited at the door, he was pretty sure this was the right place. He heard some scurrying around and then the door opened. This beautiful man opened the door and stared at him, and Mohinder stared right back, shocked by his appearance. He had thought that Zane would be a nervous looking man by the way he had sounded on the phone, but it was the exact opposite. He had large dark brown eyes hidden under a heavy brow. His hair was a dark chestnut color cut close to his head and he had some stubble on his chin. He was taller than Mohinder by a few inches and looked very thin under his Ramones t-shirt.
"Zane Taylor?" Mohinder asked. Zane smiled at him and his heart flip-flopped, Zane had the nicest fullest lips Mohinder had ever seen.
"Yes, you must be Dr. Suresh, come in" Zane said in a very rushed tone. He opened the door for Mohinder and Mohinder walked in, careful for the strange puddles on the floor. Zane walked past and his hand brushed against Mohinder's and it felt like an electric jolt. Mohinder didn't understand why he felt this way about him; he didn't even feel this way about Eden when he first met her.
"Can I get you some tea?" Zane asked Mohinder. Mohinder liked his voice, it was very deep, and intense like the rest of him.
" I'm sorry it took so long to get here," said Mohinder, still being careful of the puddles.
"No, its no problem, is herbal okay?" Zane said, and started the tap.
"Yes that'll be fine…you sounded rather alarmed on the phone, you seemed to have calmed down some" Mohinder said. Zane seemed rather confident, unlike the phone call. He can't have change his attitude in only an hour.
" I had a kind of epiphany about it this morning, are you familiar with Abram Maslow the peak experience?" Zane asked, walking toward Mohinder.
"No I'm afraid not," said Mohinder. As Zane explained it, Mohinder found himself enjoying himself. Zane was deep; he wouldn't have expected that out of someone who listened to a lot of rock music.
" So I suppose you want to see my ability" Zane asked
"Yes, I'm quite anxious to document it!" said Mohinder. Zane fetched a tarp and a toaster and set them on the table. Mohinder was a little puzzled at this
"You might want to step back, that looks like a nice jacket," Said Zane and Mohinder did. Zane lifted his hand over the toaster and it started to ripple, then it collapsed into a big metallic gray pool.
"Do you want to see it again?"
