Summary: Bella writes two letters: one to Edward and the other is a mystery. What do they have to do with Bella's disappearance on her wedding day?
Edwards golden eyes shined with hurt but relief. His Bella had left him, but to peruse a human life, which is all he ever wanted. He just wished he could say goodbye, but he knew who she was with. It was clear as day. He couldn't help the little smile that graced his perfect lips.
Dear Edward,
I am sorry to leave you like this, but I must. You were right. I would change my mind, and I have. I want kids, I want to see Charlie, and grow old with my family. I love you, don't get me wrong, but I love life more. Don't worry about the Volturi...tell them you lost me to a wolf. (Wink)

Edward snorted with laughter. He shook his head to no one in particular. "Only you Bella." Alice looked over with sadness and concern. "What about Bella? Let me see!" Edward snatched the letter away. This was only for him. "No. It's nothing important. We should be happy. Bella is."
He folded the letter neatly in his pocket and disappeared with the wind.
The outskirts of Forks at a Gas Station
Bella waited in the shadows trying to see through the inky blackness. Her eyes searched for him sure that she couldn't miss someone like him. He would tower over everyone here. A warm hand grasping around her mouth had her gasping in fear until a voice she immediately knew registered in her tired mind. "It's me." Bella sighs in relief and turned towards the reason she was out in the dark and still in her wedding dress. "Finally. What took you so long?" She asked, her eyes rummaging over his form trying see if they left any marks on him.
"I'm fine. They heal. You know that. They didn't even know I was gone. You know Jacob would throw a fit that I came to meet you instead of him." Bella could tell he rolled his eyes. "Well, I left you the letter, so it wouldn't concern him regardless." Bella could feel his eyes on her. "Why are you still in that thing? Come on. My truck's around the side." Bella followed quietly behind as he led her to the truck. He opened the door for her and she hopped in. She had to lean over to pull the dress in and warm hands stooped her. "For fuck's sake." He ripped the dress and let it sway to the ground. He closed the door shut and walked over to his side sliding in gracefully.
"So where to?" Paul glanced over at her as he put the truck in park. He grabbed Bella's hand as he turned in the opposite direction of Forks. "Wherever you want to go. We'll be back eventually. I can't hide from the pack forever."
