Twenty years ago, a man named Hideo
Made a game for the video
It was originally on NES,
But I wasn't born, and couldn't have any less.
The game was called Metal Gear,
But the end certainly wasn't near,
Because through the years,
The conclusion was something to fear.
One by one, they came along,
And the scenes seemed ever long,
But complain only if you dare,
A true fan can only, truly care.
After expanding through five consoles,
The saga comes to a sadly fold.
Solid Snake was his name,
As he starred in the greatest game.
