This Fanfic is the result of playing "By my side" While playing The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword.
I'll be honest, by the time this goes up; I'll probably have made it to the first sacred flame. Disclaimer: I don't own Link, Zelda, FI, Impa, or any other character of the Nintendo franchise.
He had lost her again. After being told that he was a bother and may have been chosen by mistake, he lost her thanks to Ghrainaim. The name still stung like salt in his figuratively speaking wounds.
Even so, he had a piece of her with him: the harp she always played. It meant the sweetest sound of angelic music. He strum on it for a little bit but knew he wasn't as good as Zelda.
He was walking back through the mining facility (don't ask why he didn't use the bird statue right there, It for entertainment) when he noticed strange devices.
One looked like the harp; only the strings were evenly lengthen and the other was a bigger version of the Congos he had seen once when he was younger. This pair had sticks had made sound. They were old and rusty and so he needed to find the Power Note for it.
It actually easy to find. It was about twenty feet to the right in a bunch of rocks. As soon as the transformation from old to new was done, the strange instruments made sound. It was harmonious as the two instruments were copied by more like them.
This gave a brave knight in green an idea. He called on Fi on come out. "Yes, Master Link? You requested me?" He asked, in his usual one-time, if she could capture sounds up to 4:00 minutes. She could do such a task. He began his song for the one he knew and loved.
Wherever Zelda and Impa are
Zelda sat close to her trusted guide. She had to leave him again. Impa had told her that she trusted Link and that everything would be okay. Suddnely, Impa and Zelda heard something ring. Impa checked one of earrings and heard a beeping noise. "
What's going on with it?" Zelda asked confused "We servants of the goddess can send messages to each other. We could tell them where we are once they get to a time portal. That if they find one." That didn't make Zelda feel better but she digressed. It was time to pay attention to the messsage.
It was from Fi and she looked really happy. "My message it from Master Link and it's for Zelda." Zelda listened close to hear what it was and she hears Link singing for her. Her eyes watered as the song began.

That's right. It times us to act like adults.

Zelda's tears were now rivers flowing from her face. Link, then, blew a kiss towards her and said" I'll be sure to make it there and to find you."
So much song-writing. Kind of a sweet fluffy story of Zelda and Link so let me know what you think, hey that rhymed.
