Prologue
It was a dark and stormy night in Hyrule. Rain was everywhere, and everybody was asleep. Even Link, our hero was asleep. The rain could be heard in door quite well. The rain as so constant, that it never seemed to stop. Everybody was asleep, except for a few people. A horse-drawn carriage was riding quickly towards Hyrule Castle. The driver whipped at the horses and they ran faster. He was wearing a large soaking wet scarf and wool shirt and pants. His shoes were black and shiny from the rain. It is not he who is important; no it is the man inside the carriage. The man inside had a long grey beard, and long grey hair. He was wearing big red robes, that were bigger then him. He was dying however; the man had been brutally attacked from the lands he had come from. He was holding on, he had an important message for the king of Hyrule. The carriage came to the gates, and then it stopped. Suddenly the driver opened the door and began shouting, because of all the wind and rain.
"The gates are closed they won't open until morning!" The man inside nodded. He knew he would die before then so he decided to try something.
"Go back to the woods; I can sense someone there that we can tell!" The man shouted to the driver. The driver nodded and closed the door. After a minute or two the carriage turned around and was headed towards the forest. Every minute the carriage went faster and faster the rain seemed to fall harder and harder too. Lightning lit the sky and thunder boomed in the air. Finally they were in the entrance to the Kokiri Forest. The man jumped out of his carriage and ran, but fell onto the ground. His driver ran up to him and shook him.
"There is one called Link, he lives in a tall house, tell him that the king needs to know that a great evil is headed this way!" the man said, and then died. The driver set him in the carriage and began to fight the wind into the forest.
