It was hard for Beck to see things through Jade's eyes. He was laid back and go with the flow. Sure he loved Jade but he felt like she acted very childish. She did a lot of the time and that was often what contributed to their fighting. Beck thought Jade needed to grow up a little bit. Jade thought Beck needed to side with her more often then he did. Beck often told her that the reason she was a loser was because she acted like a loser and he wished she would show her soft side.

One day Jade and Beck had been arguing all day.

"IF YOU WOULD STOP ACTING LIKE A CHILD I WOULD STOP TREATING YOU LIKE A CHILD. NOW GO!"

"You're my boyfriend. You can't tell me what to do," Jade said, "And who are you calling a child?"

"You. You're right when you say I can't tell you what to do but I CAN stop going out with you if you don't do what I say because I am SICK OF THE WAY YOU ARE ACTING!"

"Oh really. I'm sorry. I believe it was you who got mad at me yesterday!"

"LET IT GO," Beck said, "SO WHAT! WHO CARES!"

"That's not the way you're supposed to act Beck," Jade argued, "You aren't supposed to be a cold fish. You knew that with Vega!"

"HER NAME IS TORI," Beck snapped, "AND YOU TOTALLY HUMILATED HER!"

"And YOU acted like an idiot in the first place."

"MAYBE I LEARNED TO ACT LIKE AN IDIOT FROM YOU!" Beck snapped.

"ENOUGH," Tori yelled, "Both of you listen to me."

They turned and gave their attention to Tori.

"Beck Jade has a point and Jade Beck has a point. You two really need to start listening to each other."

"Well I try but-"

"No," Tori said, "It's my turn now. Beck you need to learn to listen. You have a mind set where you are stuck in your ways and you don't try to understand any other point of view. Three days ago you got mad at me without even listening to my point of view so I KNOW that what Jade is saying is valid in that aspect."

"What was your point of view," Beck asked.

"That doesn't matter right now," Tori said, "What matters is you assume that Jade is always being bratty and childish and that she's the troublemaker and there are times when that's true but you don't always know that she is totally at fault."

"But she's always making a big deal about everything. What else am I supposed to do? I can't talk to her because all she does is accuse me of things and do you know she still hasn't let go of the 'time out' incident."

"That surprises you," Jade demanded, "You treated me like I was a toddler."

"Well you were up my bum all day," Beck said, "Because I didn't tell you I was from Canada for crying out loud. You acted like a child so I thought I should treat you like one just like when you put up the poster of Tori-"

"If I was going to humiliate Vega I would have posted the footage of what happened to her online; not put up a stupid poster."

"Oh," Beck said, "Okay fine I need to stop being so judgmental."

"Thank you," Jade said.

"And Jade you have to remember that Beck is not your father. Beck may argue with you but he loves you unconditionally."

"It's hard to believe anyone could."

"Well he's not the only one," Tori said, "I do too"

"Thanks Vega," Jade said.
