CRACKFIC AHOY! Yeah. I was depressed writing Moving On, and I'm continually rolling my eyes that Jace NEVER. DIES. ALREADY. GOD! *rolls eyes* This is crackfic. Very, very bad crackfic. I'll take suggestions for other things that try to kill Jace. It should be noted that I really can't stand Jace (Will was worse, but don't EVEN get me started on Will/Tessa/Jem OHMYGOD.) Yeah. I rant about it a lot. ANYWAY. Here. Have some...thing...

Jace knew he was dead. Again. He could see himself floating outside his body, but he couldn't see why. Yes, he'd been stabbed, but that was nothing unusual. The vampire who'd stabbed him was standing off to the side, Alec standing next to her, a seraph blade in his hand, which was shaking with rage. Clary, as he'd expected, was weeping over his cooling body, but Isabelle was simply standing on the sidelines, her arms crossed, foot tapping, and rolling her eyes. He was dead, and she was just chilling on the side of the scene.

Alec seemed to realize it at the same time and turned to her, his hands still shaking.

"He's dead, and this is how you react?" he seemed to explode.

"He's been dead before. He'll be fine," Isabelle replied with a flip of her hair.

Jace suddenly felt a pull, and his eyes fluttered open, looking up at Clary still crying over him.

"Oh for the love of all that is," the vampire began. "HE JUST WON'T DIE ALREADY!"

Everyone turned to look at her. Suddenly, a giant foot came down out of the sky and crushed her. "Sorry about that. I just let my irritation slip through for a moment. Carry on," a voice thundered.

"What the hell was that?" Jace asked.

"Oh, that was just Firefly," the dead vampire said.

"Firefly?" Clary said.

"She writes fanfiction, and is tired of Jace coming back to life. I believe she continues to refer to him as 'shiny boy'," the vampire said.

A hand reached down and plucked the vampire, who was still rambling on, up and took her away.

"That was odd," remarked Isabelle.

"Iz, are you in on something?" Clary asked.

"Of course I am," Isabelle replied.

Suddenly the hand was back again and it nudged Clary aside, picked up Jace, and dropped him. He bounced, but was otherwise unharmed.

"Oh, goddamnit. I thought that one would work. Any ideas?" Firefly asked.

:D
