The crowd cheered in awe at the brilliant water performance, happening in the tank at Cerulean City Gym. Misty swam with her various pokemon around her dressed up as a mermaid. Her long fair hair freely flowed around her.

Ash looked over at his best friend. "Hey, Pikachu you mind giving us little time."

Pikachu looked at him curiously, before nodding. He leaped off of Ash's shoulder and ran down the hall and turned a corner out of sight.

"Ash, why would you tell Pikachu to leave?" Misty asked.

Ash had his eyes closed. He leaned in and kissed her on the lips. Misty fell into the kiss, kissing him back and closing her eyes. She placed her hands on his cheeks to hold him in place. Ash placed his hands on top of her shoulders.
