Okay so I've never done GamTav before so this might be a little weird. Please bear with me. They live in Alabama for this AU.

It was early one Tuesday morning. Tavros, like the early riser he was, had already made his way into the kitchen to prepare breakfast for himself and his boyfriend. He was still a little sleepy, but he didn't mind. He knew he would be fully aware within the hour.

Tavros opened the fridge, pulling out a carton of eggs and some butter. He then proceeded to create two omelets. Busy with his work, he hadn't noticed that Gamzee had awoken as well. Gamzee waited until Tavros slid the omelets onto a plate and had stepped away from the stove to wrap his arms around the shorter male's waist and lay his head upon the other's shoulder. Tavros jumped a little but quickly relaxed into the touch.

"Hey, Tavbro. Good mornin', isn't it?" Gamzee drawled lazily, still half-asleep. He nuzzled his nose into the crook of Tavros' neck

Tavros laughed, raising a hand to brush through Gamzee's curly hair with his fingers. "Yeah, of course it's a good morning!" He paused, before stating, "Our breakfast is getting cold, Gamzee."

Gamzee released him, pouting a little. "Yeah..."

The two sat down at opposite ends of the table, as usual. About halfway through his omelet- Gamzee had already wolfed his down- Tavros stopped and pushed his plate towards Gamzee. "I have something I want to talk to you about..."

Gamzee's head snapped up. "Did I do somethin I don't know about?"

Tavros' eyes widened. "No! Of course not! Nothing to do with you." He took a deep breath.
"Have you thought about us having a kid?"

Gamzee just sat there in a kind of stupor for a moment. "Tavros... wants to raise a kid with me?"
He finally found his voice again. "Yeah, of course I have. I didn't think you'd be interested though, what with your job and all." He hesitated. "You sure we can give the 'lil dude or gal what it needs?"

"I'm definitely sure we can handle this." Tavros grinned, and Gamzee got up, walked over to him, and took his hands.

"Then let's go for it, Tav."

After breakfast, they immediately went to the nearest foster home. They returned that day with a little girl tucked away in Tavros' arms, smiling up at her new parents. That child would definitely be treated like a princess, that's for sure.
