Um, hi? Hiatus. Haven't been on in forever. I promised to update my stories, but all of them are seriously cringy. I'm going to not update them, unless someone seriously wants me to. Sorry. They're just really bad. So, I've decided to write something good. This is my new story, it will be a good story, I hope.
Riley was going to turn seventeen in two weeks. She was mighty happy indeed. She made it through half of highschool and her and Lucas were still together. Her and Maya's friendship was stronger than ever. And Farkle was, well, Farkle. Smarkle was still going. And, Zaye was happily single. Riley smiled to herself as she brushed her brown hair. She was going out to see Lucas. Maya sat behind her, picking her clothes.
"What would Ranger Rick like?" Maya asked, digging through the pile she had created on Riley's bed.
"Something appropriate." Riley told her blond friend. Maya let out a chuckle.
"Riles, have you met me?" Maya raised her eyebrows and continued digging through the pile. "Voila!" She held up a red crop top.
"That's not even mine." Riley sighed. "Where did it come from?"
"I may or may not have brought it in my bag." She gestured to her black messenger bag in which she carried sketchbooks and pencils.
"Okay, I'll pick my clothes." Riley bounded towards her bed and pick up a flowy, floral dress and a pair of black leggings.
"Aw! You're no fun!" Maya pretended to pout.
"I don't want to show everyone everything." Riley replied before she walked to the bathroom to get ready.
"Boo." Maya shouted. She began to put away Riley's clothes, she may not be clean, but Riley was a total neat freak and Riley was going to be late if she cleaned up.
Something Riley's dad didn't know: she was sexually active. Something her mom knew: she was sexually active. Riley was on birth control and they always used a condom. But, Riley was forgetful. She hadn't taken her pill that day. She was lying down next to her boyfriend, tangled in sheets. Her flowy dress, along with her other clothes were on the floor. They were laying in silence. Well, until Riley looked at the clock. It read: 8:45.
"Crap!" She yelled, leaping off the bed and getting dressed in a hurry.
"What is it?" Lucas asked, confused.
"I have be home by nine!" Riley was putting on her dress, adjusting the sleeves so they weren't twisted around her arms. Lucas jumped out of bed and began getting dressed.
"I'll drive." He told her, they then ran out the halls towards the front door of the Friar residence. His parents still weren't home, they had gone to see a movie. Riley and him ran out the door towards his car. He started the car and drove towards Riley's apartment. When they got to the door she stopped him.
"He'll just glare at you for me being five minutes late. I'll go by myself." Riley kissed him and ran into her apartment building.
"Sorry I'm late!" Riley apologized as she entered her apartment.
"It's only 9:05 Riley, you're fine." Her mother replied. Mrs. Matthews was at the table, handling paperwork. Then, her father entered the room.
"Where were you?! You didn't call, you didn't write, you didn't-"
"She couldn't have written, it was only five minutes." Topanga interrupted.
"Fine." He grumbled, walking back to his room.
"Go to bed." She told me, I nodded and headed to my room. I quickly changed into a pink shirt and blue pajama pants.
"Goodnight." I said to no one particular as I turned off my lamp and drifted off to sleep.
Five weeks later
Riley woke up at 4:21 a.m and ran to the bathroom. She vomited into the toilet and groaned.
"Ugh, I don't want to be sick." She grumbled. She hated being sick. She would miss school. She hated missing school. She crawled back into her bed and sighed. She then fell asleep.
When she woke up and 6:14 she was feeling a lot better, but throwing up was a sign of being sick and she didn't want to risk it. Her mom came in to wake her up.
"Mom, I threw up at four a.m this morning. I don't think I can go to school." Riley groaned.
"Okay, I'll get you some dry toast." And with that her mother left the room. Then Maya came in through the window.
"Up sunshine, it's time to get up." She yelled, walking over to the bed.
"I'm sick." Riley replied. Maya shook her head.
"You can't be sick! Without you there, I might get detention!" Maya groaned. "I can't do this 'life' thing without you. Up." Maya tried to pull the blankets off of her, but Riley held onto them.
"I'm sick Maya, you can handle life for a little while. Bring me my homework." Riley told Maya. Maya huffed, but left out Riley's door by herself anyway.
"I still need breakfast." Maya said as she walked down the hall towards the Matthews' kitchen.
Well, that was the beginning of that. I hope you guys liked it! I tried my best. Sorry if my sections were too short, I try. Please R&R. I love you all!
