Hi everyone! I've just gotten into Full Metal Alchemist, and I decided to write a story for it. (I was going to make it into a comic, but I'm not the best artist…) This is yet another story making fun of Edward's height-(ironically, with the antenna and platform shoes, he's five centimetres taller than me.) Sorry if the story's OOC, I'm only on book 17.
Enjoy! (I am planning to get back to my regular stories soon!)
I REGRET (or own) NOTHING!
Al knew it wasn't overly fair but when he heard a very sudden crash the first thing that came to mind was Ed. Or at least, he thought of Ed's temper. When he looked over to see the vase shards outside Roy's office…yes, there was something very 'Edwardish' about this situation.
This was confirmed when he heard his brother yelling at the top of his lungs. "What do you mean I'm short?!"
Al walked over to the office door, but before he went in he paused. Why does it always seem like he was the older one? Why couldn't Edward bite his tongue? Why did Ed have to be…well, Ed. Sighing heavily, Al opened the door ready to deal with his err…spontaneous older brother.
When he walked in, the elder brother was yelling something that I won't record here at Roy, while Roy stared at him without saying anything, but just as intensely. Al face palmed. The one day the two would get along would be the second most wonderful day of his life (compared to ever getting his body back, that is.)
Well…better now than ever. "HEY!"
The two froze. Going beside his brother, he placed a hand on his shoulder in attempt to hinder any attempts to attack Roy before any could be plotted.
"My brother's not short!" Well, he was, but better to say that than the truth. Ed stuck his head up with a humph and a smirk. Looking at his brother's expression of victory, something came over Al. He couldn't explain it, but it was good. Correction, it wasn't good. In fact some would say it was…quite evil. However, it was beautiful in the darkest sense. If Al had a human face, a sly smile would have been stretching over his features. It was a good thing he didn't, or it would have given him away. Al wasn't quite sure why he got the idea. Perhaps it had to do with the fact that he wanted revenge for all the babysitting he had to do. Or maybe for all the little animals Ed didn't let him keep. Or maybe it was genetic to act annoying to the older sibling. He didn't know how it got there, but he knew Ed would never see it coming…
"He's vertically challenged." Al didn't need to look to see what his brother's reaction was. However, to enjoy the moment, he did anyway. Ed didn't say anything, but there was a look of utter shock (mixed with a slight dose of betrayal) and pure unadulterated rage. Al swore he had heard a slight ticking sound that hadn't been there before. It was drowned out by the Colonel's barely contained laughter. Al noticed the hand on Ed's shoulder was turning red from the heat emanating off his older brother. Al slowly backed away, ready to run. Even though Al knew he could beat him, Ed's face promised of horrors to come. Al didn't get out of the office in time.
"You traitor!" Al wasn't sure how this made him a traitor, but he didn't ask. He was a little too focused on the fact that Ed was leaping at him in a way that would have made Superman proud.
Ed tackled Al to the ground, causing the greatest fist fight (or attempted pummelling) of the century. The colonel thought about grabbing Ed off him, but decided on grabbing a few precious valuables and walking out of his office, leaving a note telling them to pay for anything they damaged.
How was that for a first time? I know it was short, but I thought it was rather good, don't you? Let me know! I love reviews!
