Welcome everyone to my R6 story and it's my first one on the series itself, hope that you like it.

Valkyrie and Blackbeard hopped off their chopper and into the active military base filled with boxes of supplies and ammunition, rumbling vehicles, and hustling soldiers running around to their duties.
"This place is busier than a hooker joint during Valentine's Day." Blackbeard said as he hefted his gear out of the Black Hawk, "Or a Hooters bar during-"
"Craig eww." Valkyrie groaned as she shouldered her bag filled with her "Black Eyes", "There are so many other things that you can say but those are the first things that come to mind?"
"Valk! Beard!" Thermite called out as he walked over with his mask off and Tachanka beside him, "Glad you can make it."
"What's the situation Thermite?" Blackbeard said while snapping to attention, his SEAL training coming back to life.
"Follow me and I'll fill you in." Thermite said while motioning them as the group walked into the command tent, "The town's been overrun by some kind of disease that's making everyone go apeshit."
"Monsters Jordan." Doc said over the speakers while a live feed of him cutting apart a leg while exposing it's inside, "The virus alters the chemical composition of our body into a sort of armor that, from my experiments, can withstand small caliber weapons. The cerebrum itself appears to be nonfunctional and the Medulla Oblongata seems to be amplified by ten fold, causing the reaction at which we saw on multiple encounters."
"Umm." Thermite said as he had a wtf-look written all over his face, "English Doc? Not all of us are experts on our bodies ya know."
"The virus turns their victims into modern day zombies Jordan." Doc said while obviously shaking his head from behind the camera, "The parts of the brain that are responsible for us being "human" are shut down, leaving the animalistic side of ourselves to emerge."
"Thank you Doctor." Ash said as she switched off the feed and turned towards them, "I told Six that it was a problem unlike something we have ever faced before and I was right. That's why I asked for you six."
"Hold on a minute." Tachanka said setting down his massive machine gun on a table, "Why six operators?"
"Thermite to set the charges on the hives-"
"What hives?"
"-which I will get to in a minute." Ash scowled at her fellow SWAT teammate, "Doc to analyze the disease and to provide on site medical attention, Tachanka for support, and Blackbeard and Valkyrie to help track the swarm as the team is inside."
"Then who is the sixth?" Tachanka asked while looking around, "Unless Vigil has made a machine to make himself invisible then I only count five."
"A new operator." Ash said while pulling up to the screen a file of a stocky Asian man, whose mouth was covered with a tiger face mask, "Say hello to Dà Bǎohù. Codename: Tiger."
"Another China man?!" Tachanka laughed while sitting down and throwing his feet onto the table, "I do not mind the women but these men have no balls!"
"Really Tachanka? You don't even know if he's even Chinese or not!"
"Don't need to! They all look the same!" Tachanka cackled as Thermite, Blackbeard, and even Valkyrie managed to crack open a smile at the racist joke.
"I gotta agree with him on this one Eliza." Thermite chuckled while fixing around with his explosives, "If you remember Echo and Lesion then you can understand why he says that."
"And why is he codename Tiger huh?" The Russian asked while pointing at the case file, "Why not bear? Much, much more fearsome and dangerous!"
"Because." Ash said while pulling up Dà's equipment, "This is why he is nicknamed Tiger."
The group's eyes widened as they saw the gauntlets and even Tachanka set his foot down to get a better look. It looked like something out of a video game with the guard reaching all the way up to his elbows and looking very high-tech. The fingertips had sharp claws at the end and as the view changed, they saw how much more intricate the piece of art was.
"That things looks like it just came out of one of those Chinese RPG's." Blackbeard whistled while trying to get a better angle at it and scratching his generous beard, "What do you think Meghan? Maybe if I ask him politely then he'll let me borrow it?"
"Just don't cut yourself with that thing when you're trying to put it on." She smirked before asking, "Anything else about Dà?"
"He's from the People's Liberation Army Special Forces and he's one of the few experts if only that they have in this kind of field." Ash said while flipping through his paper file, "Specialty is close quarters combat obviously but he can handle himself pretty well with a gun from what I'm reading in his report. Six barely managed to wrangle him out of the Chinese's hands for this mission and if he wants, he can request to stay at Command and he'll be a permanent part of Rainbow."
"So Six sent us a man who can scratch the infected men to death if they get close?" Tachanka scoffed while playing his pistol, "Might as well give us a regular foot soldier to do that job but even better! Also, I was right that he was a China man!"
"Well where is he then?" Thermite asked as he looked up from his work and at Ash, "If we're going in then he is coming with us I assume?"
"The pilot flying him said that they were caught in some small storm over the Pacific and can still make it to us but it's going to be delayed." Ash said while putting up the images of the infected, "Moving on from our newest recruit, these hives that we are going to destroy are what turns this-"
She pulls up an image of a regular infected with a couple of shards sticking out of his body while looking up at the camera.
"-into this whenever we try to up the ordnances."
She pulls up something that was about three times bigger than the last picture with a lot more muscle and spikes poking out of its body.
"Ugh. Spare me." Valkyrie groaned as she squinted her eyes at the picture while accepting the hazmat gear from Ash.
"What? Can't handle the idea of turning into one of those ugly things?" Blackbeard joked while putting on the safety hazmat gear.
"No because I see you everyday so it makes it much, much better." She retorted as Thermite, Tachanka, along with Doc, who had just came in, laughed up a storm as Blackbeard shook his head and turned away in embarrassment.
"I like this American woman." Tachanka laughed while Doc nodded in agreement as Thermite packed up his explosives, "Not only can she fight but she can speak her mind, no?"
"You'll make your way to the hotsprings where a majority of the hives are located and plant the explosives before making your way back via airlift." Ash said while placing both of her hands on the table, "These enemies are ruthless and are to be killed on sight no matter what. They can take more hits than your average man but a headshot should do them in. Any questions?"
"When is China man going to come then huh?" Tachanka said stocking up on ammo from a nearby crate, "I want to see if this guy is as lazy as the ones that we know or if he'll do something other than fly small robot and plant little itty bitty mines."
"Well you saw his weapons." Ash smiled while pointing to the screen behind her, "What more do you want?"
"Proof."
"Alright let's go everyone." Thermite said while shouldering his bag of charges before walking out of the command tent, "Choppers already waiting for us outside."
"It was nice seeing you again Eliza." Valkyrie said while giving the other female operator a hug, "We should have another girls night out with the others when we get back to Command."
"Hoping for it." She smiled while returning it as Valkyrie walked away and Blackbeard gave her a pat on the back and smile before following.
"Keep the coffee pot warm for us." Doc smiled while putting on his helmet, showing that almost fatherly aura that he had, "We won't be long."
"Tell us when China man comes!" Tachanka shouted while shouldering his heavy gun before stepping through the tent and towards the chopper.
Ash shook her head before picking up the rest of Dà's case file and skimmed through it as she heard the chopper blades fly over her and towards the hot springs.
While most operators have had some form of martial arts in their background before they join the special forces, none have ever boasted that they've been trained by Shaolin monks from birth. Not only that but he was listed as the number one soldier in the Chinese Army when it came to close quarters combat.
Then she turned the page to see something that surprised her. There was another reason as to why Dà was nicknamed Tiger and it was a rather admirable but at the same time terrifying trait of him.
Thirty minutes later
"Ash! The hives have been destroyed!" Blackbeard reported as he unloaded his D-50 onto the incoming Roaches with Valkyrie pumping her shotgun to his side, "Requesting immediate evac over!"
"Jager should be outside waiting for you right now Blackbeard." Ash said over the mic as the group ran towards the chopper while laying down cover fire.
"Anyone call for a handsome German for pick up?" Jager joked through the radio as he hovered over the group in his helicopter, "Now I'll warn you that my services aren't cheap but for the right price-"
"Watch it Jager!"
The German pilot turned to his right to see several Roaches throwing themselves off roofs straight at his cockpit.
"Scheisse!" Jager cursed as he jerked his joystick in the opposite direction but the Roaches still managed to hang onto the landing railings. One managed to take out his tail rotor as others got into the main cabin.
"Jager!"
"Mayday! Mayday!" He shouted while pressing buttons and forcing his joystick away from the rooftops, "I'm going down!"
The group on the ground watched as their ride spiraled out of control and pummeled into the ground several meters from them.
"I just heard Jager's call. What's going on?!"
"Roaches got to the chopper before us." Thermite said while reloading his 556xi before spraying it at a horde running towards him as he and the group made their way towards the down helicopter, "Requesting another chopper evac at Jager's crash site over! I sent you the coordinates!"
"ETA 5 minutes."
"Copy that! Thermite out!"
"Move it!"
Command tent
"Echo Five, your destination has been changed." Ashe said while plotting the points on her tablet of the crash site and sending it to the pilot, "Your new orders are to transport Operator Tiger to a hot zone filled with hostiles to rescue a team of five with a downed pilot over?"
"Roger that command." The pilot confirmed from the radio, "En route now."
Ash looked at Dà's face on his file once more and hoped that he was ready.
Crash site
"Jager! Are you alive in there?!"
"No shit I'm already dead!" Jager groaned as he placed a hand on his side to staunch the blood flow, "What took you people so damn long?!"
"Sorry that we had to fight through a bunch of freaks to get to another one." Thermite grunted as he lended a shoulder to Jager and helped him out of the ruined cockpit, "So sorry if we were taking our sweet ol' time."
"Set him down." Doc said as he set down his gun and started to work on the German, injecting him with a vial and wrapped the wound, "We need to get him onto that chopper and clean that wound."
"Roaches 12' o clock!"
A round of gunfire echoed throughout the town as bullets embedded themselves into the ruined bodies of the Roaches.
"I'm out!"
"There's some ammo in the main cabin." Jager heaved as he pointed towards the ruined helicopter bay door.
Tachanka ran towards the door and threw it open as a Roach pounced on him with it's mouth wide open, eager to sink its teeth into him.
Doc immediately set off a round that met its mark in the Roach's skull and it flopped to the ground.
"Thank you doctor!" Tachanka laughed as he refilled his drums and set it back onto his gun before spraying the hell out of a few Roaches jumping across the hood of cars, riddling holes into the metal and shattering the glass leftover.
"Where's that evac Ash!" Thermite shouted into his radio as he emptied another clip and put in a new one just as quick, "We're being pinned down over here!"
"Should be above you right now."
The sound of chopper blades caused them to look up to see the Black Hawk converging onto their location.
"This is Echo Five here hovering above the crash site." The pilots voice staticed through the radio, "I can't land here with the buildings. Make your way to that fountain area two blocks from here for evac over. We'll provide cover fire."
"Roger that Echo Five! See you in a bit!" Thermite said as he switched off his radio before turning and yelling at the group, "Evac zone's two blocks from here at the central fountain! Everyone on me!"
"Up you go comrade!" Tachanka said while pulling Jager up with a single hand, "Time to go home."
"Cover us." Doc said while getting on the other side of the German and lending his shoulder to him, "I'll carry him to the zone."
"Move it!" Blackbeard ordered while picking off a few Roaches while patting Valkyrie on the shoulder, "This place is gonna get pretty hectic soon with all the nose we're making!"
A scattered line of light killed off the Roaches in front of them as the 50 cal went ballistic above them.
"I see your point!" Valkyrie said as she pumped a shell into a roach that had tried to jump onto her and another climbing up from a sewer hatch.
The group traversed the dystopian terrain while fighting off the Roaches and saw the Black Hawk fly over them towards the fountain.
"Get to the chopper!" Tachanka shouted while continuing to lay down cover fire, "I am running out of ammunition!"
The building beside them erupted as a horde of Grunts and a few Smashers broke through the flames and headed right for them.
"Focus your fire onto those Smashers!" Blackbeard said as the group unloaded a wave of death to the Roaches while retreating with their backs towards the helicopter.
Valkyrie reloaded her MPX before spraying a few more times as something wrapped around her leg and yanked her off her feet.
"Ahhhhh!"
"Meghan!" Blackbeard exclaimed as he tore apart the insides of a Roach before moving towards her while she got dragged further and further away, "Hold on!"
"Hold it Blackbeard!" Thermite said while grabbing onto the man's armor strap, "You're gonna get yourself killed!"
"If I don't then she will!" He said as he struggled against Thermite's and Tachanka's hold.
A shadow appeared over them as someone landed in front of them before bolting towards Valkyrie. The most noticeable thing about him was what's on his hands.
"Is that?"
"It's Tiger!" Doc shouted from behind them while manning the 50 cal, "Pick off the grunts so he can save her!"
Blackbeard gritted his teeth before kneeling down and fired his SR-25 with Thermite and Tachanka doing the same.
Valkyrie grunted as she shot the thing that had grabbed her leg before standing back up and looked around, seeing Roaches everywhere, growling and edging towards her. She tried to stand on both feet but her left leg ached with so much pain that she almost dropped.
"Get away!" She shouted while pulling out her D-50 and pumped it into the nearest Roach, "Get away!"
The sound of an empty chamber made her stomach drop as she reached for her shotgun but all she found was a ripped strap.
The scene of burning cars, dead bodies, and no one else alive but her took her back to the day of the car crash. The Roaches images flashed several times, changing from spectrals to skeletons to demented corpses to bright lights.
"Make it stop, make it stop!" Valkyrie shouted as she dropped down to her knees and held her head, "I don't want it to happen again!"
"Rargh!"
Valkyrie cried as she closed her eyes and shedded tears for the first time in 15 years since the accident that had brought her here in the first place.
The sound of a blade cutting through flesh and the cries of Roaches dying made her open them to see someone slicing through a line with something very familiar.
The man turned around to look down at her with his blackened and bloodied claws and they locked eyes for a split second before he charged at her.
"What the-"
He scooped her up in his arms princess-style before running towards a group of Roaches facing them.
"We're going to run right into them!" She screamed while pointing in front of her but it merely made him run that much faster.
"Ahhhhh!"
Valkyrie wrapped her arms around the man's neck and hung onto dear life as the growling Roaches came closer and closer.
The next thing she noticed was that she was in the air, the Roaches tried to jump up and grab them but they were too high up. The feeling of being airborne at that moment was unimaginable, as if she was an actual angel flying. While they were in the air, Valkyrie looked to her side and saw the man's eyes not looking down at her but forward. It was as if his goal was to escape no matter what and not look back.
They landed perfectly on the concrete before sprinting towards the chopper, the rest of the group having already boarded it and were providing cover fire. Bullets whizzed past them with one clipping Tiger's uniform but he kept on running. The Roaches that tried to follow fell to the ground one by one as more replaced them.
"Get to the chopper!" Tachanka roared as round after round dropped to the ground with a ding as he fired his RP-46 at the horde behind them with Thermite and Blackbeard doing the same as Doc finished patching up Jager.
The man hopped and landed in the main cabin of the Black Hawk perfectly as it started to take off and the pilot yanked the joystick hard, causing the cabin to tilt a bit as they rose away from the Roaches and towards the base.
Valkyrie's eyes met her savior as they looked at each other, waiting for something that would break them apart. She was starstruck by how easily he had taken out the Roaches without a gun and how high he had jumped with all of that equipment and her on him with those things underneath him ready to tear him a new one.
He gently sat her down onto the metal cabin as Doc quickly went to her side and examined her leg.
"Are you okay?"
She was even more surprised at his voice as well. She had thought that it would be a more heavily layered accent or even some Chinese but he spoke perfect English, mind that it was a bit muffled with his mask on.
"I'm fine." Valkyrie smiled as she managed to lift up her hand for a handshake, "Thank you Tiger."
"No problem." He replied with a nod while gingerly shaking her hand, careful not to cut the woman with his razor claws.
"Partner!" Blackbeard shouted as he came to her side, "You alright?"
"I'm fine Craig. Just a bit-" Valkyrie grunted as Doc cleaned out the wound and turned her sprained leg a bit, "Beat up."
She felt a finger slide across her face as the SEAL jerked at the touch before seeing Tiger brushing away the drops of tears on her cheeks.
"It's okay to cry." He said before sitting back down in the corner and looked outside as the Black Hawk flew.
"Did I hear that right?!" Tachanka exclaimed as he appeared next to Blackbeard, "The mighty Valkyrie actually cried?! Wohoho she did!"
"I did not cry!" She retorted with her face heating up in embarrassment as she turned away, "I-It's just some dust and concrete in my eye!"
"Oh wait until the command hears about this." Jager laughed weakly as he clutched his sides with his back pressed up against the wall, "They'll never let you live it down."
"Don't you dare Jager!"
The whole cabin laughed with even the pilot joining in as Valkyrie turned towards Tiger with a grateful smile, which he returned with a nod before watching the base come into view.

Bit of a quick scene and I'm sure that most of you guys have already played this game mode and it's near impossible by yourself.
