Hello! Another new story while I have a few that are still on going. This popped into my head and isn't really leaving me alone so for your pleasure, The Seven Deadly Sins! Like always, I don't own anything and this is just for fun.
Chapter 1
King yawned as he lazed on Chasteifol, watching as Elizabeth and Diane served customers at the Boar Hat while Ban cooked and Meliodas served drinks. The weather in the area was nice so a majority of the customers were outside, enjoying the warmth as the sun slowly set. Hawk ran amongst the tables, searching for scraps while several Holy Knights lingered, including Slader, Jericho, Gilthunder, and several others. Merlin, Gowther, and Escanor were inside the Boar Hat doing who knows what and King couldn't bring himself to care. He was still angry with Gowther for taking Diane's memory but he couldn't really blame him since he did the same thing in the past. Her memory had returned so King could at least rest a little easier.
"Harlequin!" King turned over as Elaine flew up and sat down on the pillow, smiling at him. "Do you not want to join the others?"
King shook his head at his sister. "I'm just not really feeling like it right now."
Elaine's smile grew sad as she sat by King's side. "Your heart is heavy. Would you like to talk about it?"
King glanced at his sister as she made herself more comfortable on Chasteifol. "I'm just... unsure of some things."
"You are torn between your commitment as one of the Seven Deadly Sins and your duty as Fairy King." King shot up in shock, staring at his sister. Elaine smiled up at him, a knowing glint in her eyes. "Time has past over the years but you are still you, Harlequin. You care about those under your care."
"I just feel like, maybe, I should..." King said, his voice drifting off.
Elaine reached over, taking King's hand. "I'm sure the others wouldn't mind if you took some time to go home."
King tightened his grip on her hand. "I'll give it some thought, Elaine."
"Just make sure you don't take 500 years," Elaine laughed. King couldn't help but join in her laughter, happiness settling at having his sister back.
"What do you think they're talking about?" Diane asked, looking up at the two fairies above.
"Probably discussing fairy secrets," Howzer said, taking a long drink.
"She is his lost sister," Gilthunder remarked. "They do have a right to spend time together."
"It has been a long time," Ban said, walking over with a tray of food. He stared up at the two fairies. "They did get to see each other in the Capitol of the Dead but it wouldn't be enough."
"In other words," Meliodas said, breaking into the group. "We have no need to bother them. Let's get back to drinking!"
Author's Note: Short chapter for a start but this is just the set up. Hopefully it will turn out well! Thanks for reading and reviews, favourites, and follows are appreciated. Until next time!
