Were Best Friends Forever!
Weevil Underwood and Rex Raptor were at the park. They were walking around under the shade. It was a wonderful summer afternoon. The rays of sunlight filtered through the braches of trees above them.
All of the sudden Weevils says to Rex, "Rex, you're my BEST FRIEND!"
"You're my BEST FRIEND too!" said Rex.
"LET'S BE BEST FRIENDS FORVEVER!" they exclaimed together. And they ran off together, and broke into a song:
"LA LALA LA LA! WERE BEST FRIENDS FOREVER! FRIENDS FOREVER, YOU AND I! LA LA LA!"
"Wanna go to the playground?" asked Weevil
"Okay!" said Rex and they skip down the sidewalk, arms linked together, and once again they broke into song:
"WERE OFF TO SEE THE PLAYGROUND!
THE WONDERFUL PLAYGROUND OF OZ!
When they got to the playground Rex asked Weevil," Do you want me to swing you?"
"Why yes! Thank you best friend!" he responded.
Rex started swinging Weevil on the swings. Harder and harder he swung until, 'Poop' Rex swings Weevil too hard and Weevil goes flying into the air. But he grabs Rex's hand and they both swing into the sky. They both go over a rainbow and land on a puffy, fluffy pink cloud.
A bunch of Furbys pop out of the cloud. One of they hops closer to them."Hi! I'm Bullseye, wanna be our friend?"
Rex Raptor exclaimed, "Yes!" And he picked up the Furby and cuddled it.
Weevil said," Let's live here forever!"
And Rex, Weevil and all the Furbys broke into a song:
"LALA LA LA! WERE BEST FRIENDS FOREVER! FRIENDS FOREVER, YOU AND I! LA LA LA!
WELL, BE HERE TOGETHER! FOREVER, YOU AND I! FOREVER! FOREVER! TOGETHER! BEST FRIENDS FOREVERRRRR!"
