Grimmauld Place #12

The Floo roared. Harry stepped out then helped Ginny. They had just returned from dinner at the Burrow, during which Ginny had announced that she was pregnant.

They went up to their room and collapsed on the bed.

'I'd have never imagined myself to be here, especially with Ginny.' Harry thought, before falling into a deep sleep.

May 27, 1995

Grimmauld Place

Harry woke, then groped the bottom of the bed for his and Ginny's satin quilt. Instead, he only found the old, rough knit ones that used to be in Grimmauld Place, before he had remolded it. He opened his eyes to find himself staring at the bottom of the cover of an old bed.

'How did I get here? Was I really that drunk? No, I can remember everything, going upstairs, collapsing on the bed.' he thought.

He looked around and saw a 15-year-old Ron lying on the bed next to his.

'What? Why's Ron here? Why is the 15? Is this a dream? What about Ginny? Or the baby?' Harry thought.

He got up and ran out of the room. Just as he reached the stairs, Harry heard a scream. He raced down to the next floor landing just as Ginny raced out of the room running straight into Harry. She hugged him tightly and he hugged her back.

"Ginny? Is it still y'know, older you?" he asked tentatively, afraid she might answer no.

When Ginny nodded, he hugged her again, just as a sleepy Hermione and sleepy Weasleys came down to meet them.

"What's going on?" asked Ron, rubbing his eyes sleepily.

Harry looked at Ginny, who looked back. Both nodded.

"I have something to tell you," Harry said.

One Hour Later

Dining Room

Grimmauld Place

"Could Dumbledore, Weasleys, Sirius, Remus, Tonks, and other Professors please stay behind from the meeting?" Harry asked the assembled Order.

Glancing around, he saw that all of the faces nodded. His eyes locked on Ginny's.

"Good," he said.

The rest of the Order cleared out; leaving just them. Ginny got up and stood next to him. She muttered a spell that stuck everyone to their chairs and silenced them.

"Great. Now, you're all wondering why your stuck and silenced-" Harry paused. This suddenly seemed like a very bad idea.

"Actually, Ginny, I changed my mind. Let's not tell them. You know Ron'll just murder me in my sleep. That wouldn't help our chance to save everyone. Please, let's just apparate out of here." he pleaded.

Ginny just shook her head.

"No Harry. They are very confused, and you are NOT obliviating them," she said, giving Harry a very stern look.

The rest of the people in the room watched the exchange, most confused, some angry. Harry's shoulders slumped. Ginny patted his shoulder sympathetically.

"Fine. Here is the plain and simple truth: Yesterday when I went to bed it was May 26, 2003. Same for Ginny. Now it is May 27, 1995. Our minds and souls are still 23 and 22. But we look 15 and 14. In the future, we were married. And Ginny was pregnant. The only problem is, when we jumped back in time 8 years, Ginny was still pregnant. There you have it. The truth. Now somebody please find me a knife so Ron can kill me and I won't have to deal with the looks of horror you are giving me right now." Harry said.

Ginny rolled eyes. "You're acting like you're 5, so maybe we went back 16 years," Ginny told him. "Ron will not kill you."

"Yes, he will. In our 6th year and from then on, he was always protective of you and threatening to kill me if I ever knocked you up. Now, I'm off to the kitchens to look for a knife." Harry remarked as he got up and started away.

"Oh no, you don't! You're helping me deal with all these angry people. Ron is your best mate. He's not gonna kill you." Ginny slammed him down into the chair next to her. "Now, I'm going to remove your silencing charms and you may all talk one at a time like the mature people you are."

Ginny removed the charms and suddenly there was an uproar from all the younger Weasleys. Then they went quiet. Ginny had silenced them again. "What part of 'Mature people' do you not get? Now this time I won't remove the charms on anyone younger than Bill except Hermione."

Ginny removed the charms.

"May I ask why you stuck us all to our chairs, Miss Weasley. Or should I say, Mrs. Potter?" Dumbledore asked.

"That was so no one would harass Harry. Yesterday, in the future I mean, when I first announced it, Ron definitely would have, had I not spoken to him beforehand and stuck him in his seat. Instead, he just yelled 'Bloody Hell, Harry!' I would assume that he would do that right now if I hadn't silenced him. Ron's approval means a lot to Harry. If Ron ditched him, Harry would never be the same." Ginny told Dumbledore, not looking at Ron or Harry.

Dumbledore nodded and Ginny unstuck and unsilenced everybody except for Ron. Then she went straight to Fred and hugged him, tears flowing and saying "Fred!"

Harry did not move, instead, he looked with tearing eyes at faces he never thought he'd see again: Sirius, Remus, Tonks, Dumbledore, Fred, Snape. No one noticed. All were looking at Ginny's reaction to Fred. Finally, Harry got up and walked over to Fred, patted his back, and turned and walked back up to his room saying:

"I'll just be in my room."

Short & Sweet right?

I'll update again next week all my wonderful readers. Please review and give me feedback. This is not a sequel to the original Back to the Past, this is a rewrite. And again, I do not own Back to the Past. All ideas belong to LilMissMoonRay.

Thx.
