Summary: My name is Maria and i`m twelve years old. I have dyslexia that sucks. Let me tell you my life story. I live in Californa with my mom well, at least I did. After my mom died of old age, my uncle took care of me. Nobody belives me story basically you see my uncle hates me. He thinks I made my mom depressed about my dad. Anyways, my mean uncle threatened to send me to a foster home. i thought he was kidding but he did. That night I secretly ran away. At least t`s better than my uncle and that ended me here.
I discovered something no mortal should see. Monsters. Yes monsters! They chase after me everday. I usally just hide from them. It feels like its my everyday routine now. They aren`t boogyman or the monster that hides in your closet. This is the real thing. I`m not imagining. I sleep near some trash cans. If you were me you`d get used to my enviorment. Here`s the wierd part. Around near the trash, I see this camp site. I usually think it was like a girl scout camp or some kind of camp. Everyday my dyslexia gets worse by the minute. One day I see this man. Not any kind of man. A man, with goat legs?
"Sir" the man said. Then after that I swear I was going to faint. The man was half man half horse! I expected Ariel came out of the lake and grow human legs. But my prediction didnt happen. I was so scared out of my mind! This isn`t no trick I swear. One day I would know the truth. Well, the conversation was still going on. I missed some words because I fainted I guess. When I woke Up I saw people all around me. A girl with warm brown eyes looked at me and said to a guy " Get some Ambrosia now." I was so confused. Until a man walked in. Not any man. The man I seen before. I couldnt see him much. My vison was too blurry. But I knew who he was. What is going to do with me I thought. He looked at me. Then he said to the girl with warm brown eyes, " I need to talk to her it`s important" he said. The girl replied but didnt have time to speak. He walked toward me slowly. " Come with me."
