A/N: I've wanted to try doing a one-shot for a while now, so I decided to just do it. I may post more one-shot chapters later, but maybe not.

Harmony's True Love

"I'm going back to Sunnydale. Got a message for Buffy?"

"Yeah. Tell her you're an idiot."

Harmony sighed as she watched Spike and Angel's little yelling match. Why did Spike love Buffy so much that he's want to leave Los Angeles, Wolfram and Hart, and most of all, her? She'd given Spike everything - her heart, her feelings, everything important - and he ran back to Buffy as soon as he possibly could.

A tear ran down Harmony's face. Why didn't Spike love her? She loved him, so, so much, and he'd let her write Spike Loves Harmony on his back with a Sharpie, but he hated her. Why? Why did she deserve that?

Maybe I should follow him back and go out with Xander Harris to make him jealous, Harmony thought with the revenge in her voice that only Anya the vengeance demon could possibly match. Xander…or that demon that he was friends with! The one that had been crypt-sitting for him while he was off getting his soul!

But Harmony knew that it would never work. Spike just didn't love her. It wasn't fair! She had been popular, beautiful, adored…but Buffy had just been that freak with the creepy childhood trauma. She didn't even have good hair!

Harmony was crying into the pink collar of her sweater at that point. Then she straightened up. If Spike didn't know how amazing and perfect she was, then she would show him.

Buffy would be the farthest thing from his mind.
