Mistletoe and wine
A.N - This is just a little thing for Christmas and since I haven't written by thing in a while! Hope you enjoy, merry mid-winter festival and a happy new year to all!
It was almost midnight on Christmas eve and Pepper Potts was only just closing her laptop and finishing her work for the evening but then that's what happens when you work for the great, ever so slightly egotistical Tony Stark aka Iron Man. Luckily though, she didn't have far to go from her office in Stark Tower to her bedroom. 'A few hours sleep is all I need' she thought to herself, knowing that she would only get a few hours anyway because Tony would be up ridiculously early like an excited little kid. "The one time he actually wants to wake up" she muttered to herself.
What she didn't expect when she walked out of her office and down to the lounge area was Tony standing there with one arm raised, holding up some mistletoe and waggling his eyebrows suggestively while Christmas songs were playing in the background.
"You know... You're supposed to kiss under this stuff" Tony said, grinning mischievously.
"Are you trying to extort a kiss out of me, Mr Stark?" Pepper tried to hide a small smile but Tony could see the corner of her mouth turning up ever so slightly.
"Nope" he grinned again "I would never do that, Potts. A gentleman like myself would never do such a thing. Pepper couldn't help but giggle when Tony called himself a gentleman the burst out laughing as he started to pout then try to win her round to his side by doing his biggest and best puppy dog eyes.
"No! Tony, that's not fair!" She quickly covered her eyes in an attempt to avoid those big brown eyes but it was of no help when he started to sniffle. She sighed in defeat and removed her hand from her eyes only to see him grinning proudly. "That's not fair, Anthony."
"Ooo ouch" he chuckled then raised the mistletoe again "Come on, Potts, it's just one little kiss. What's the worst that could possibly happen?"
"I could stupidly fall for you again" she smirked "That or I'll make you pay in some subtle way like I did for that twelve percent comment" Tony winced slightly then chuckles and winks.
"I'll take my chances.." Her grinned once more before he kissed her, casually throwing away the mistletoe in the process.
