One Rainy Night

A/N: I haven't written a Bones fic in a while and I got this idea after watching The Doctor in the Photo. I decided to take another approach to Booth and Bones uniting after that. It may be a little OC. Please review and enjoy!
Seeley Booth stood outside of Temperance Brennan's apartment building. It was raining hard, but he didn't care. He quickly made his way to the entrance of the building and made his way through the familiar building.
Without even thinking, he ran up the stairs until he reached the floor she lived on, and quickly ran to her door and knocked.
His heart pounded. He loved Hannah, he did, but Bones meant so much more to him. She had been late in realizing that she loved him as well, but he didn't care. She loved him and she admitted it and that was all he needed.
Inside, Bones stirred from her sleep and glanced at the clock beside her bed. It was three am. Sighing she got out of bed and grabbed her robe as she made her way to the door in the dark.
When she opened it, she got a glance of Booth drenched before he grabbed her and kissed her. Instead of fighting back, she felt her body relax and melt in his arms. Neither of them said a word and all four hands began to push off Booth's wet clothing and what little she had worn to bed.
She felt his muscles and he picked her up and carried her to her bed room. She wasn't thinking and for the first time ever, she didn't want to think. It was a foreign feeling letting her mind and her body go. Of course she had, had sex before, but this was different.
She closed her eyes as he gently laid her on the bed.
"Bones, I love you," he whispered.
"I love you too Booth," she replied.
Thunder boomed waking Temperance from her sleep. Her eyes snapped open and she looked around her dark room. She could see outside of her window as the rain fell hard. She sat up, felling her heart beat fast.
"It was just a dream," she said to herself. "Just a dream."
