Poke-School: A Pokemon fan-fiction

"Hey! Misty, was it?" I asked to a girl with bright orange hair, and a simple, cute face.

"Yeah, and you're the new girl, right?" Misty replied, she was quite friendly.

"Yeah, my name's Leaf." Was my response. I had just moved to the Kalos Region, from Kanto. All young people wanting to become trainers and challenge any league, had to move to Kalos for Trainer School. A few of my friends moved with me, including Ash Ketchum and Daisy Oak, along with my rival, Gary Oak. Daisy had been my best friend forever, so that gave me constant exposer to Gary. I guess every up-side has a down. At least I was going to school with my best friend.

"Cool. I'll introduce you to the gang." Was all Misty said before dragging me off to her friends. There were already groups of friends formed because the Kanto boat arrived a week late, every trainer in Kanto was late, except for Ash, he flew with his mother.

"This is May," Misty said, gesturing at a girl with shoulder-length mousy-brown hair. "This is Dawn," She said, this time meaning a girl with long dark-blue hair, with golden clips assorted with two in the front, and one in the back. "And this is Ash." Misty said, pointing out my life-long friend. "And guys, this is one of the Kanto girls, Leaf."

I smiled. "Nice to meet you, Misty, May, Dawn, and nice to see you again Ash." I politely greeted them, meaning what I said.

"Wait, you know and Ash know each other?" Dawn asked, seeming puzzled.

"Yes we do," Ash took the liberty of explaining. "We go way back. So Leaf, does this mean Gary arrived to?" Ash's face as he brought up our rival, was filled with disgust.

"Him and all of his fangirls." I informed, my voice as dull as it could get. "But at least that means Daisy's in town."

"Who's Daisy?" May, Misty, and Dawn said all at once. Ash and I giggle in response to the unison.

"She's our other friend, average height, blonde, and really hot-" Somehow my jabbing of my elbow into Ash's gut cut him off.

"Long story short she's nice, you'll love her." I summed up. I had a feeling we'd all become friends fast. After adding all their numbers in my phone, we headed to class.

Dawn, May, Daisy, and I all were in Mr. Harold's homeroom, while Gary, Ash, and Misty where in Mrs. Tanner's. Class was long, boring, and downright sleep inducing. Dawn, who sits beside me, even fell asleep for half the "structure of a poke-ball" lecture, I kindly photocopied my notes for her, which she surprisingly cared a whole lot more than I thought she would.

"How can I ever repay you? Tell me!" Is what she texted me after she found my notes in her organised binder with a Pikachu doodled on the cover.

In all honesty I would do it for any of my friends. Arceus knows how many times I've done it for my old friend Joy. (She's not here with us because, you guessed it, she's in training to be the new Nurse Joy.)

"I'm sure you'd do it for me." I quickly typed before the bell rang for dismissal.

My phone buzzed not two seconds later with Misty sending me and the group a joined message saying, "Guys, meet me at the central poke-center five after the bell." We were in Lumiose city, so it was necessary to say which center she meant. I just send a quick photo with my thumb up and left the building.
