It was just minutes after the Yin-Yang Eclipse had ended. Lloyd sighed, summoning his dragon, heading back to the Corridor of Elders. He dismounted and sat down, leaning against his father's statue. If only you were still here...
"Son?" Garmadon's spirit had appeared, turning solid.
"D-Dad?!" Lloyd stuttered, looking up in complete and utter shock. "Is it really you?!"
"Yes..."
"I've missed you so much!"
"I've missed you too. I'm so proud of the person you've become. I love you so much. I truly do. What's the matter?"
"I want you to stay forever with me..."
"Lloyd, you already have me in your heart. I will always be a part of you, no matter what happens."
"I'm weak..."
"No, you're not."
"But, Dad, I feel like...I feel like I don't deserve to be the Chosen One! I can hardly protect those I love..." Lloyd then softly cried out his next words. "Even you..."
His father sighed. "You have to understand. Destiny chose you for a reason. Yes, you may have been young at the time and still are now, but your bravery and strong-willed personality is still going to prevail, nevertheless. And nothing will ever change that about you. Lloyd Montgomery, you're the grandson of the First Spinjitzu Master. You're so strong. In many more ways than one. Unfortunately, though, I can't stay forever; I wish I could..."
Lloyd was clearly overwhelmed and upset. He completely broke down, sobbing vehemently into his knees, curling up into a ball. "Dad, I need you; I don't want you to leave me..."
Garmadon sat down beside his child, pulling him in close. "I know you're upset, Lloyd... Come here..."
The two of them stayed still, embracing one another for a long time. They pulled away, Garmadon taking something out of his pocket.
"Here." Lloyd was handed a blue necklace. "It has the same powers as the Realm Crystal. That way, you can visit me in the Departed Realm whenever you'd like. I want you to be happy, Lloyd."
*"Thanks so much, Dad..."
"I love you."
"I love you more."
"I love you most."* The two of them embraced, then pulled away. Garmadon sighed. "It's about time for me to go, but you can always visit me whenever you want to."
"Thanks again, Father. Goodbye..."
"Goodbye, my son..."
With that, Garmadon's spirit faded from view. Lloyd was content. Although his father had died, he knew they could always be together anytime. They wouldn't have it any other way.
And done!
*So my friend told me to put a Tangled reference in there... XD*
Yeah! Cya, bye!
