Oh, my love, my darling,
I've hungered for your touch
A long, lonely time.
How much longer much we endure this? I thought to myself. As my family and I stood off to one corner of the gym. I thought of multiple ways that I could escape this, boredom that Alice has forced us all to attend. The gym was filled with annoying, anxious teenagers, some that felt the same as I, other that we're hoping for that special someone to notice them. Why had Alice insisted we come tonight of all nights, to want to be social, she had bad timing. As the gym doors closest to us opened, were the most irresistible un-denying smell invaded my senses.
And time goes by so slowly,
And time can do so much.
Are you still mine?
As three girls walked in, but my eyes only looked to one. As if her smell wasn't intoxicating enough, just the sight of her, made all the little boys swoon, as she walked by. The red off the shoulder number she was wearing made me taste venom, it was revealing just enough that it wasn't, with its straight neckline that formed to her just right, to her dress split that was tight high, it was taking all I had to not go and sink my teeth in her right then and there. As her company made their way to a table that was occupied with friends, time seemed to move much more slowly to me. I had to make her mine.
I need your love.
I need your love.
God speed your love to me.
I watched her, dance after dance, I watched her, as she declined everyone who asked her to dance, people wonder why she even came, if only they knew it was because one in her company wasn't asked so she offered to go along with her. I read that the DJ was going to put a slow song on, and I had enough of waiting, I wanted her, I needed her and I wasn't even sure in what way I needed her, I just knew that I did, as I walked towards her doing my best to do it as humanely possible, fighting to use my speed with every step.
Lonely rivers flow to the sea, to the sea,
To the open arms of the sea.
Lonely rivers sigh: 'Wait for me, wait for me.
I'll be coming home, wait for me.'
Stepping close to her table smell of her hit me like the crashing sea hitting the rocky shores. I reached out my hand out as I stepped to her. "May I have this dance?" Look of shock and not knowing how to respond was painted on her face and I couldn't say I blamed her, she looked to her friend, who gave a hesitated nodded, she opened her mouth to say something but closed it and just placed her hand in mine, gasping at the coldness of my skin but didn't pull back as she let me lead her on to the floor.
Oh, my love, my darling,
I've hungered for your touch
A long, lonely time.
The music started just as we walked on the dance floor as I took her in my arms, as she quiver to my touch as I placed my hand on her lower back where her skin was revealed. The touch of her skin shot threw me, a hunger that I had yearned for as I started to tempo of the music.
And time goes by so slowly,
And time can do so much.
Are you still mine?
Time again moved ever so slowly, I started at her and she at me, like we were the only too in the room, time had slowed just for us and in that moment she was mine and I was hers.
I need your love.
I need your love.
God speed your love to me.
In that moment, I knew what way I wanted her, the way I need her, I loved her and I needed her love to me.
