Happy Birthday Alois!

Alois sat on the picnic blanket, his back resting up against Ciel's chest and the younger boy's arms wrapped around his waist securely. The two had their eyes closed and were wrapped up in their coats and scarves to try and keep away the bitter cold that nipped at them when the wind brushed past.
Alois shifted onto his side so he could curl into Ciel's body heat more. Ciel smiled and peeked a glance at him before closing his eyes again and held Alois closer and tighter to him.
Today was November 5th, and they were waiting atop a small hill, waiting for the fireworks display to begin. It also happened to be Alois' birthday and the Trancy Earl and his lover had decided to go to a display. Not to watch it, but to enjoy one another's company away from where their butlers constantly glared daggers at one another in irritation and annoyance.
Alois blinked open his baby blue eyes and smiled up at Ciel. Ciel sensed his gaze on him and looked back so their eyes met. Two different shades of blue, yet they showed the same amount of love and affection they shared for one another.
"Ciel, I love you".
"I love you too, Alois. And Happy Birthday" Ciel replied, leaning down to press a sweet kiss to the elder boy's lips just as the first firework shot itself into the sky and lit up the night.
