A/N: This is a one shot on the family discussing Edward's sexual orientation.

"Maybe he is gay." Emmett said to Rosalie.
"Poor guy." Rose responded compassionately, twirling her hair.
"Even if Edward is gay, so what?" Alice argued with hand gestures.
"Nothing." Rose said hastily. "It's just such a taboo in society. It's easier finding a girl."
"Edward is a wonderful young man and you are prying into his personal matters." Esme chastened the rest of the family.
"Didn't you ever wonder?" Emmett asked with wide eyes.
"That's Edward's personal matter." Esme responded.
"It's just sooo obvious." Rose said. "Why doesn't he ever even look at my boobs? I mean, every guy looks at my boobs, except for him." Rose tried to reason in her own sense of way.
"Because I'd kill him." Emmett suggested.
"I mean before I met you, Em. Not once. There were so many opportunities." Rose reminisced in memories.
"We all know how you are crushing on Edward, please stop it." Emmett asked his wife.
"Past tense, Emmett. Crushed…" Rosalie rose held up her hand in defense.
"I can see him finding a mate though." Alice added slightly bored by the topic.
"Please say it's a girl." Emmett almost yelled in excitement.
"It's too unspecific, I couldn't tell." Alice frowned slightly.
"So what if he is really gay? Jasper, what do you think?" Rose emphasized on the word gay.
"I am not getting into this discussion." Jasper took a step back underlining his disinterest in participation with his hands.
Then Carlisle came home. "What are we discussing?" He asked.
"Whether Edward is gay or not." Rose informed Carlisle, with this by-the-way-connotation.
In that exact moment Edward swept through the door and from the look of his face, everybody knew he had heard. Edward shot one glance at Carlisle, then at the rest of the Cullens.
"I'll go to my room." He said.
"Edward, No, Wait." Rose said. "We didn't mean to…"Rose wanted to apologize.
"Rose, leave it. Please, feel free to go on discussing my sex life. Just because I refrain from nymphomaniac behavior, that doesn't mean I'm gay. Good Night, to all of you."
