The silent hum of the Engine room was interrupted by the doors sliding open and Zaeed shouting, "Shepard's wear'in a dress!" Tali, Kenneth and Gabby all looked at each other as the sound of Jack's feet pounded the stairs as she came up. The three quickly followed Jack's into the hallway, joining her in looking out the window into the hanger. The shuttle was lowering and walking across the large room was Kasumi, Thane, and Shepard in a black dress.
"I don't believe my eyes," Tali shook her head, "She's even got heels on."
"She actually looks pretty nice," Gabby said.

"That's a bit of an understatement," Kenneth said.

"Right, if she wasn't walking like a man," Jack began laughing, "Thane walks more graceful. This is priceless." Zaeed came out of the starboard cargo room with a rifle in hand. He held it up, looking through the scope and zooming in. The corner of his mouth curled up in a smile.

"Besides the walk, she hides a hell of a body under the uniform and armor."

"I'll be the judge of that," Kenneth walked over.

"Get your own," Zaeed growled, not even moving the scope away from his eye.

"If she were to turn around right now and see you two, you'd be dead." Gabby said.

"Damn it, why isn't anyone recording this?" Jack asked.

"Where are they going?" Gabby asked.

"They're helping Kasumi retrieve something," Tali said.

"Why is she going out like that?" Grunt came from the port cargo room, "She always goes on missions fully equipped. She looks so exposed and weak."

"She's probably got a pistol hidden in there somewhere," Kenneth grinned and winked.

"I saw Thane and Miranda moving her armor and some weapons into shuttle earlier," Tali said, "They're planning for a fight later. I'm not sure why Shepard's the only one dressed up if they're..." That was when Shepard turned. They all ducked down the moment she did. Except for a clearly confused Grunt who watched the group scramble across the floor towards their usual locations.

The commanders voice came from the console by the window, "While you're all there can one of you open the doors for us. Almost forgot that part. The whole vacuum of space thing will suck us out if we try running for the controls down here. Thanks."

Tali quietly stood, being the one left behind because she froze at the sound of Shepard's voice. She walked over to the console, looking out to make sure they were secure in the shuttle before opening the doors.

"I don't understand any of this." Grunt shook his head before he turned back to the port side cargo hold.
