The Cold
Pairings: Zoro x Luffy
Warning: VERY short. Will explain at the end of story.
Time set: Before they recruit Nami. That means even before they got Merry Go.
It is a cold night.
Both the straw hat and ex-pirate hunter had nothing to shield themselves from the cold.
"Z.. Zoro.. I'm.. brr.. cold..." Luffy curled himself together while sat on the far end of the boat.
"Yeah, I know." Zoro said, trying hard to prevent his teeth from knocking each other while he stared at the curled-up Luffy.
"You don't feel cold at all?" Luffy asked.
"No." Zoro tried to convince Luffy that the cold has nothing on him.
"Then.. can I cuddle?"
"...huh?"
"I mean, can I cuddle next to you? Ace let me cuddle him when I'm smaller and I'm cold." Luffy said, making his way towards Zoro.
Ace? Who the hell is he? Is he Luffy's boyfriend? NO WAY! I joined Luffy because I want him to be mine! NO guy can ever-
When Zoro is lost in his thoughts, Luffy already sat beside Zoro, and he rested his head on Zoro's chest. Luffy's move startled Zoro and snapped him out of his thoughts.
The anger and coldness in him had faded in an instant.
"Mmm... Zoro's so warm.." Luffy muttered and nudged closer to Zoro, his arms circling Zoro's waist. "And Zoro is so.. secure.." Luffy's voice trailed off.
Grabbing Luffy's legs while supported him at his back, Zoro placed Luffy on his lap. The straw hat captain's head resting on Zoro's neck.
"Z...Zoro..?"
"Shut up and sleep, kaizoku-ou.." Zoro said and stuffed Luffy's straw hat towards his face.
"Hai!" Luffy said and placed his straw hat on his stomach, planted a soft kiss on Zoro's neck before slowly drifting off to sleep.
Gently ruffling Luffy's hair, Zoro fell asleep, mentally claiming Luffy in this cold night..
This chapter is quite short.. Because I'm bored and I started writing this chapter in my phone...
