Author's Note: I do not own Once Upon A Time or its characters. Just a fan
Emma watched from afar as Regina spoke with Henry – the smiles on their faces causing her heart to flip flop.
Everyone was convinced she was the one who was supposed to break the curse and bring their memories back. But it wasn't her, it was all Regina.
After her parents told her how Regina saved them both by using Snow's heart to bring her father back, it made her appreciate the older woman even more. It seemed like forever ago that Regina was trying to get her out of town and away from Henry.
She was still watching when Robin came in smiling. Like earlier when Regina had come into her rooms at Granny's with a smile on her face – apparently because she was "smitten" with the man, Emma didn't like how it made her feel.
She tried to shake it off, but as she saw them all leave together it hit her again full force.
"That's my family," she said.
Hook came up next to her. "We should talk."
"I have nothing to say to you," she snapped. "Don't even try it. Get this straight, with or without your cursed lips, you and I will not be kissing."
"Swan, she would have hurt Henry if I said anything."
"So your solution was to help him leave, or kidnap him or whatever. Look, I appreciate that you have been buddies with Henry and telling him about Neal, but he remembers who he is now so do me a favor and stay away from him and me."
"I can't stay away, and you don't want me to. You and I have a connection."
She sighed looking in the direction that Regina and Henry left in.
"That may have been the case," she said. "But I have a stronger connection to someone else and it's time I act on it before it's too late."
