Seras ended her flight, landing inside what remained of the Hellsing mansion and releasing Sir Integra. The blonde vampire took in her surroundings; entire walls, floors, and other pieces of building collapsed and destroyed. Blood caked the interior, bodies and entrails littered the floor.
She shifted her eyes towards Integra who was sitting on a fallen column, Integra covered her ruined eye as if it were an act of retaining her dignity, her face displayed no emotion. Seras blinked, having had her own eyes gouged out only hours ago. Of course her own eyes reformed, but Integra, being human, wold forever lose the ability to see from the eye that she shielded.
The vampire focused on her mental bond with her Master, Alucard, the bond was weak and almost non existent. He was gone. She pushed such a disturbing thought into the back of her mind and looked down at her blood soaked form, ignoring the immediate urge to lick the blood from her own body. She slowly made her way towards her room, or what was left of it. Past Sir Integra, past the fallen columns, she walked in an almost trance like state.
A section of her room's wall had caved in, leaving a gaping hole which Seras unceremoniously walked through at a steady rhythmic pace, her eyes unblinking. The bathtub in her room was, miraculously, all in one piece. Her shadow arm reached towards and turned the knob, filling the tub with water. She pulled herself in and settled in the water, not even bothering to remove her gore-stained clothes. The clear water soon became tinted red with blood.
Then, it was as if Seras had broken out of her trance as she finally blinked and fully took in her surroundings, her mind focused on a single thought:
"Master is gone."
The barriers that held in her emotions broke. The draculina cried out in agony, bloody tears poured from her eyes and flowed across her cheeks, staining the water below. Her mournful crying echoed throughout the mansion.
"Alucard is gone."
Rarely did she attach him to his name. Seras pressed her head against the wall and screamed, tasting her tears of blood that leaked into her opened mouth.
"Alucard is gone."
Seras pounded her fist against the wall in her frustration, the wall cracked upon impact. His voice echoed in her mind "Yes Seras, my Seras Victoria", And the girl's cries became louder and more heartbreaking. Did she love him? Yes, definitely, but she was confused; in what way did she love him? Her fist collided with the wall again, "Why did you leave me Master!? You were the closest thing to family that I had!"
And again, "Alucard!" his name felt different on her lips, a name she never used. "Come back! Please!" She punched the wall again and it collapsed around her, a section of it landing on the tub and destroying the edge of it, the water from the tub flooded out. The mourning Vampire, sitting in the now drained tub, buried her head into her lap making. Her cried of despair became muffled.
After half an hour of mourning, Seras stood up still soaking wet and nervously proceeded towards her Master's room. Everything was perfectly intact, as if some force field was protecting her Master's territory from damage. She walked past his throne and towards his coffin-bed, she opened it and crawled inside, breathing in his lingering scent. Seras curled up inside and whispered to herself.
"I miss you already, my Master."
