This is how it would have been if Edward was human and Bella was a vampire.

I was sitting in my Volvo, thinking about a lot of things.

for instance, "Why did Esme and Carlisle have to shift to this small and gloomy little town?" I said to myself.

It was so annoying of Emmett and Rosalie to want to marry and settle down in this place. I mean couldn't they get a better place to live in?

As it is I was so troubled with settling in this place and now I even had to join Forks high school.

But I didn't have any other choice. I had to wake up in the morning and kind of welcome this change 'optimistacally' as quoted by Rose.

The sunlight; which was quite unusual here in Forks peeped in through my window and woke me up.

I got up and went downstairs to eat my breakfast.

After I ate my breakfast I got ready for my first day at school and hopped into my car to leave.

On reaching the school i parked my car in the parking lot and walked toward the small Reception building as instructed by Carlisle.

The school seemed to be quite small and I seemed to be quite enthusiastic now to meet my still-to-be-made friends. I walked into the reception building. A petite lady welcomed me inside and politely welcomed me saying, "Welcome Mr. Edward Cullen. I hope you are having a nice time here in Forks."

Then she handed over my schedule for the day.

When I came out of the small building the school seemed to be already quite populated.

My first class was Calculus. I am not really good at calculus but still I seemed to be quite 'optimistic' about going ahead to my first class.

When I walked in, all the seats were full; except for one.

I went ahead and that was the first time I saw that divine face of her. It mesmerized me. I was totally dumbstruck thinking to me that how anyone could be so Angel looking. I went ahead and sat beside her. That was the time I noticed her carefully and precisely; not wanting to miss any detail.

I noticed that she had the palest looking skin I had ever seen in my whole life for a human. Infact she didn't even look human to me. She looked like she was carved from marble. Better than a carved out statue. Her eyes were burning red in color. Her lips were pale pink. Honestly I don't have words to describe her but all I can say is, she was perfect, more perfect than perfect. I had a strange feeling in my body, when I saw her for the first time.

Perhaps it was jealousy or a feeling stronger than that.
