Gotham City, one of the world's most crime ridden cities and the one that I call my home. I've lived here my whole life and I don't think that I could see myself living anywhere else, it wouldn't be the same. My name is Nina Jenkins, and as much as you may not want to believe it my father is the one and only Noah Kuttler also known as The Calculator. Insert an eye roll here. Mom and dad got divorced years ago but he has custody of me at the moment so I'm at his place most of the time. Oh jeez I almost forgot to tell you, I work for my father The Calculator and just like every great villain you need a name and mine is the one and only Black Hunter.

It was Monday and just the beginning of the school year, yes you heard correctly beginning of school year. Mother pays the ridiculous high expenses for the great and prestigious Gotham Academy which means another year of bullies and mean, snobby, entitled children. I slowly made my way into the large academy and sighed. A soccer ball slammed into the side of my head knocking me and all my things on the ground. When I'm the Black Hunter I'm great at everything I do but Nina Jenkins is just pathetic and sad with zero friends. "Hello are you lost?" I looked up to see a girl with red hair and freckles looking down at me. She scooped up some of my things and handed them to me.

"No but thanks for asking, I'm Nina Jenkins." I said smiling at the girl.

"I'm Lara Smith it's nice to meet you." She said smiling. I looked behind her and saw two guys just watching me.

"Hello guys do you need something?" I asked watching the both of them. "Oh sorry these are my friends, Travis Castle and Dick Grayson."

"It's nice to meet you guys I'm kind of happy I made some friends on my first day back at school. Well I met new people I don't know if you guys consider me a friend yet." I chuckled as the bell rang. We walked to class together and the day went by pretty well and I even managed to stay away from the bullies. I said goodbye to my friends and began on my way to my lonely house.

As I was walking I noticed that it was becoming strangely foggy and the air had a strange bitter taste to it. "Don't you know that little girls shouldn't be walking around all by themselves?" A voice said. I looked up and I could only make out the silhouette of tall man before the world went dark.

I woke up in a cage with a bunch of other confused people who were trying their hardest to get out of the cage. "You can't do this to us we have rights." A man yelled waving around a small booklet. "Oh hush up will you all of you are so annoying." The man said typing away on his very advanced computer.

"Do you guys ever know when to quit?" I frowned immediately recognizing the voice of one annoying sidekick.

Our kidnapper was knocked out of his chair and Robin the Boy Wonder stood in front of the cage and told us to stand back. Everyone did what he said and he blew the cage open setting everyone free. My father had something to do with this I know it for a fact. I said to myself. I snuck away from the group and walked down the hall hoping not to be caught by anyone so I could do what needed to be done.

"I really don't think what you're doing is very smart." I turned around to see the boy wonder grinning widely. "I was looking for the bathroom." I said hoping he didn't catch my lie. "Oh, it's down the hall to your right." He said smiling at me. "Hello, little lady where do you think you're going?"

We both turned around to see the Scarecrow and a bunch of goons smirking. "This is not good." Robin said grabbing me and running the opposite way. "Hold on tight alright." Robin said pulling me on his back. I held on to him and we flew through the building with him tossing a couple of bombs here and there and we went out of the window. Batman was waiting outside with his arms crossed, I was 100% sure that he was scowling at the Boy Wonder and I. "You and I will have a discussion later when it's less crowded. Batman said to his young sidekick.

"Can I go home now?" I asked looking at the both of them. They both turned to looked at me and I made a face at the both of them. I heard a car drive up to the three of us, I shook my head as soon as I realized who it was and slowly made my way to the old beat up car.

"If it isn't Batman and the Boy Wonder, might I ask you what you're doing with my daughter?" Dad said pushing me towards the car.

"I did not see that coming." Robin said looking at me.

"Noah what are you doing out of jail?" Batman said frowning at him.

"It's good to have a woman who loves you and is will to do anything for you despite being divorced." He said. I shrugged and began to walk home knowing that he was probably going to get himself locked back in jail. Mother was always a sucker for dad, even knowing he caused so much havoc in Gotham she still paid thousands for his bail every time he was locked up.

"Hey you know your house in on the other side of town right?" Robin said walking beside me. "No my mother's house is on the other side of the town and how do you know where I live?" I asked as it started to rain. When is didn't get an answer I turn and asked him again only to see that he had disappeared.

I heard a laugh echo through the city and smirked. I kept on walking until I made it to the house and thankfully dad was still messing with Batman so he wasn't there. I had to the house to me myself, and I, and I was going to enjoy it.
