Well, boredom consuming, I wrote this little drabble/not very good one shot. I personally think it's very cute in a sense but it's verrrrrrrrry short. Though that's usually how my one shots are… short things that I felt like writing. I'm not a very good poet though, so beware…

WARNING! WARNING! I DO NOT OWN CAMP LAZLO, AND THE THIS STORY IS PURELY FANMADE AND HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH CAMP LAZLO, THE ONLY POSSIBLE WAY I AM LINKED TO CAMP LAZLO IS BY WRITING FANFICTIONS OF IT AND WATCHING IT! SO YEA!

As I Sat There

As I sat there, I saw the sun.

The more I looked, the harder it becomes.

I didn't know world was so dark, so dirty and pale,

I didn't realize that I soon had failed.

I just sat, listened and obeyed

To whatever my parents had to say.

And as a grown man, I still sit alone,

Still listening to that same tone.

My boss describes this world as "Something to hate."

And that "no one can save it, it's too late"

"And sooner or we should just go home"

But I don't know…

Slinkman stared at the piece of parchment in front of him. It was how he felt, to every last word. He felt alone, trapped, alone, nowhere to go. It was something he wrote, a long time ago…

"Daddy? What's that?" He smiled at the boy who had just spoken.

"Nothing, sweetheart. Go back to your friends." As his son ran off, Slinkman stared at the piece of paper, looking at how old the writing looked. As he stood and walked away, there was something new.

I may have thought the world was gray,

But my life is looking up today.
