ChapterI – Pay Back Time!
Two female figures stood outside a traditional Japanese home silently as if to await something. Alas, one opened her mouth to speak.
"It's difficult to stay as human. You have limited power, limited choice…"
"And it's not like you have a choice if you put an ever-lasting curse on a bunch of innocent people too."
"Hmp."
The moonlight gently cascaded upon the two strangers.
Both were teenagers. One, very Asian-looking, she had long dark hair that was loosely tied back, and dark clothing that outlined her pale skin clearly. The other, standing to the near back, her long, blond locks of wavy hair tied in two's behind her and her peach-colored skin and her colorful clothing clearly showed her liveliness.
"Let's get back."
But the black-clad girl glared coldly at the stiff building and walked off.
Home room time in Kaiba High today was a bit noisy- perhaps because of the teacher's absence?
But the students were silenced as soon as the teacher entered the scene. Trailing after the teacher was a student. Clad in the school's girl uniform, her cold, endless dark orbs some what hidden behind her bangs seemed to glare at some particular people. Her long hair wiped around her, and suddenly seemed to cause a cold, dark aura.
"Class, this is Rei Yu. She is here to join us, so help her out. Rei, there take that spot beside Shinju."
"Hai."
The girl replied shortly to the teacher, and approached to her seat. She passed by the seats of Yuki Sohma and Tohru Honda, and it ws no mistake that Tohru saw a cold smile on the new comer's face.
Lunch.
"Ne, ne! Today, we had a new student in class! She has really long hair and it's blond like me! She was really nice too."
"Really, Momiji-kun? We also had a new student in class too!"
The two chattered while the other Sohma boys looked on.
Up a tree a bit far away from the school building, the 'new students' the two were talking about were there watching them.
"Rei, there they are! Five members of the curse."
"I'm not blind Arisu."
"Aren't you going to get rid of their curse?"
A sly grin appeared on Rei's fair complexion. The girl addressed as Arisu- turned her vision towards Rei, putting up a curious expression.
"No… not yet. Till they pay for making them lock me up in the abyss."
"That's you alright."
