"Is that The Drowsy Chaperone I see?" Kyle turned around to see a stocky, dark-haired Bombshell actor peering over his shoulder. "As an actor I'm supposed to hate bootlegs but I have to admit that Chaperone is genius."

Kyle laughed nervously. What was this guy's name again? "I'm Bobby," the actor said, as though he could read Kyle's mind, sitting down on the couch of the green room next to him.

Julia had invited Kyle to come see a Bombshell rehearsal and do some work on Hit List with her as well, but a fight had broken out onstage between Derek and Tom, and Julia was caught doing damage control. She had told Kyle to wait in the green room (as obviously nothing was getting done, so Kyle decided to pull up one of his favorite musicals and take a break. "I'm Kyle," the writer replied. "You like Drowsy Chaperone?"

"Oh, it's one of my favorites," Bobby gushed. "The music, the plot- phenomenal."

Kyle grinned. "Want to watch it with me?" He had only just met Bobby, but he already liked him. He was funny, and friendly, and he liked The Drowsy Chaperone. The last time Kyle had watched The Drowsy Chaperone was when he tried to show it to Jimmy, and Jimmy had just smoked weed the entire time and made stupid jokes. Not that Kyle didn't enjoy hanging out with Jimmy, of course. But he thought it might be nice to spend an afternoon just really seriously enjoying a show.

"Sure!" Bobby accepted the earbud from Kyle and they watched the show the whole of act one, laughing and singing along at some points. Kyle felt that maybe he'd made a really good friend. Or more than that even.

When Julia called Kyle back to the stage to show him something, Kyle was disappointed to leave. Sure, the things Julia told him were informative and interesting, but he would have really liked to spend more time with Bobby.

"Hey, do you think maybe we could..." Kyle cleared his throat, trying to make his voice sound less nervous. "Do you want to get a drink sometime?"

"I'm all for that," Bobby shrugged with a smile.

Kyle hoped his cheeks weren't flushing as red as they felt and smiled. "Cool."

"Cool,". Bobby grinned. "I think I'm needed in the dressing room. See you around."

"See you around."

Bobby left, and Kyle returned to the stage, humming "Cold Feets" happily. Jimmy would probably laugh at him, Kyle thought. But Bobby would be right there humming along.
