A/N: After seeing both Jacksepiceye and Lordminion777 this came to mind. Yeah I know he already took the game off of steam and apologized but I still this popped into my head.
For a dollar you could play in our world, battle the enemies, find the keys and win the prize. Happy little lives seen in as a 8-bit world. Pixelated designed around the show and diner before it. Though we aren't as naive as one may think, we see everything that happens around us.
Screaming, tears, police tape, locked doors and blood.
Bleach can only remove the stains but the imprints still remain. It seeps into everything, distorting our reality causing havoc and chaos. Glitches we can handle. It's what we've known. It's the fear that's come with it that's foreign to us.
How can you fight a boss battle knowing that deep down in our data a child is screaming out in pain? We've fallen many times, plugged in, unplugged and plugged in once more. Nothing. Nothing can erase the truth we know and can not forget. One day they'll unplug us for good sending our world into perpetual darkness.
Until that day, and that day will be soon we can only try to play the part. Build my stats, grow my levels and collect my tokens each time with a smile on my face for the child.
Tweny five cents.
Fifty cents.
Seventy five. Here we go, are you ready?
One dollar, one more round.
They ask you to save them but I wonder...do you care enough to save us?
