Heya. So I'm sad to say that this is my last submission for LaLu Week. It is finally Day 7 and I can't actually believe that I did all of them to be honest. That aside, please read and enjoy.

LaLu Week – Day 7 – Prey

Lucy crashed through the trees, limbs flailing in every which way and lips parted with gasps spilling out, as well as the occasional shriek or scream. The pounding footsteps behind her almost taunting her in the way that only he could, sounding as if they were only a few feet away. She, as well as he, knew that escape was inevitable at this point, it was like a game of cat and mouse, her being the mouse of course.

At the sound of branch cracking from seemingly a metre away, Lucy let out a small shriek, willing her legs to move faster, her lungs to pull in more air and her muscles to stop burning.

To no avail.

Inwardly cursing her ability to get into such situations, she was airborne for a second before feeling herself get dropped onto a sturdy shoulder. He had caught her. Lucy dropped her head in defeat, knowing the punishment that would come later on for her actions.

"You really thought you could get away from me?" he chuckled darkly.

"Shut up Laxus," she grumbled back, ignoring the shiver that ran down her spine at the sound of his laugh, "you didn't have to actually chase me, you know."

Jumping over a fallen log, Laxus adjusted the girl slung over his shoulder into a more comfortable position, one where his shoulder wasn't digging into her stomach (uncomfortable for her) or where her boobs weren't pressed against his back (not uncomfortable for him, but not good in this situation).

The walk back to the guild took another ten minutes, occasionally filled with Lucy's grumbled complaints and Laxus' retorts and laughs.

"I hate you, you know that?" Lucy asked, still slung over his shoulder.

Chuckling, Laxus pulled the girl down, wrapping his arms around her waist.

"Love you too, Blondie." He said, before dipping his head down to kiss her.

Lucy wrapped her arms around his neck in return, tilting her head slightly to deepen the kiss.

Two little diamond rings sat on her left hand ring finger, glinted in the sunlight.

Ten Minutes Earlier

"You're such an animal, why did I marry you?" Lucy whispered teasingly.

Hearing her words, Laxus turned his head to her direction slowly, a smirk spreading across his lips. He walked over to his wife, planting his hands on her hips and looked down at her.

"Because if I'm an animal, then you're my prey. And we both know that I stop at nothing to get my prey." He leaned forward, brushing his lips against her ear and grinned when he felt her shiver and release a small gasp.

"So, run."

Yayyyyyyyyy. I'm done. So yeah, that was the last day for LaLu Week, hope you liked it. I don't, I wrote it in like half an hour. But yeah.

I'm a bit down now though, broke up with my first boyfriend yesterday. It was five months. My fault for breaking it off though. And then there's the fact that school is starting innnnn... like two days.

Only real good news is that I'm starting work next week. First job, although it's at maccas (mcdonalds for anyone who doesn't speak aussie).

Oh and I guess I'll go back to updating for my other story, next chapter should come out before a month. Hopefully.
